Today we’d like to introduce you to Philip Resch
Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
I’ve been in the financial services industry for 18 years now. I worked for 2 major fortune 100 companies and 2 years ago, my entrepreneurial spirit took over and I decided to leave corporate and open up my own organization.
In my organization I have over 200 like minded individuals that I teach, train and coach all across the country to help out their local communities become financially literate.
Our mission is to provide protection based solutions that if a working spouse doesn’t make it home tonight, their family can still enjoy the retirement they deserve. While focusing on protecting we also look at ways to help people plan for retirement through various ways that can offer guaranteed income, tax free income or even short term investment strategies. Once you can rest easy in retirement, we help plan the legacy you want to leave to your family, church or charity of choice as opposed to the government.
We’ve helped hundreds of families and continue to do so on a daily basis.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It hasn’t been a smooth road. Leaving a corporate position making good money to having no salary at all is daunting. Fortunately, I have a great support system in my business partner/wife who believed in me to start the company. She’s been my rock through this whole process and once you get started there’s no turning back at this point. We truly have been blessed to work with great people and continue to service the community.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?
We are a financial services company. We have over 200 agents currently in Valor right now and continue to grow nationwide. We offer protection based solutions like life insurance, marketplace health care, alternative investments, and retirement plans for business owners and general consumers.
We have some specialized niches as well at Valor that include:
– Estate Planning to protect assets from the government
– Working in the Athlete market. When athletes receive money in college or pro’s, we have solutions to make sure the athlete is prepared for a different type of retirement.
What sets us apart: we have industry experience at Valor that provides basic needs to extensive planning. We are always looking for people who want to get in our industry and have local support to help people who are looking to help their community.
Do you any memories from childhood that you can share with us?
I’ve been an avid sports player my entire life. I played ice hockey for over 34 years and truly enjoyed the team aspect of the game. One of my favorite childhood memories was playing in a tournament and scoring the game winning goal to get us into the final round. We ended up winning the whole tournament as well but it’s always nice to play the hero.
