Meet Payton Rubel of Fort Worth

Today we’d like to introduce you to Payton Rubel

Hi Payton, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
I have always loved creating. I love a good project and putting my own twist on things. I started doing embroidery and vinyl for personal use and then one day I applied to a market. I have been doing them ever since! I have loved getting to meet and know all the other vendors as well as customers.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
No! Because it is was a smooth ride everyone would do it. I am learning and growing everyday. I have had my speed bumps for sure but that comes with the industry so I was prepared. I am just getting started so I want to stay true to myself and can’t wait to see where it takes me!

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
Remington Piper specializes in personalized embroidery cocktail napkins, and has some exciting things coming soon! I am most proud of myself for finally taking a leap of faith and doing something I have always wanted to do!

How do you think about happiness?
So cliche but my dogs! Hints the name Remington Piper. I have an 8 year old english lab Iggy Piper who is as chill as can be and then there’s Remi (Remington) who is a 1 1/2 year old doberman that gives me a run for my money!
