Check Out Runa Lucienne’s Story

Today we’d like to introduce you to Runa Lucienne

Hi Runa, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
My journey took flight in Toledo, Ohio, where I grew up and discovered my passions for the arts, athletics, science, and burning desire to make a meaningful impact in the world. From an early age, my curiosity knew no bounds—I dove into ballet, spent weekends at the Toledo Museum of Art, and excelled in track and field as my high school’s high jump recordholder. My love for science took me even higher, as I landed my first internship with NASA while in high school, followed by a second internship at the Johnson Space Center in Houston during college.

After high school, I packed my bags and moved to New York City, jumping headfirst into the world of modeling and acting while also pursuing a degree in mechanical engineering and competing in track and field. I quickly learned that life’s unique challenges demand creative, out-of-the-box solutions. Balancing my time as a full-time student-athlete while booking modeling gigs with Cosmopolitan magazine and securing a spot on Project Runway Season 5 was a full-time job in itself!

By 21, I wrapped up my New York chapter and made the leap to Los Angeles, where I continued modeling and acting, and began my career as a social media content creator. I savored the simple luxuries of LA: enjoying perfect weather, driving to the beach, and tossing groceries in my trunk -an entirely different vibe from my fast-paced NYC life.

Since LA, I’ve called many incredible places home—Miami Beach, Fort Lauderdale, Las Vegas, and now Dallas—with stops in Macau, China, and Houston along the way. Though my list of cities may sound like a world tour, each one has shaped me, personally and professionally, offering new perspectives and lessons.

Along this journey, I’ve had the privilege of giving back to communities through organizations that have left lasting imprints on my heart. From Social Dallas, a local non-denominational church, to Hope for the City’s food pantry in Las Vegas, to First Baptist Fort Lauderdale’s children’s ministry and the Miami Children’s Museum, each experience has taught me the power in small acts of kindness. I’ve also supported Paws4You, a dog rescue in Miami, and helped deliver meals with Meals on Wheels in Los Angeles. These moments reinforced my belief that true success isn’t just about personal accomplishments—it’s about lifting others up and making a difference, no matter how big or small.

Now, as a Dallas-based realtor serving clients nationwide, my story comes full circle. My passion for growth, connection, and creating spaces—both physical and emotional—where people can thrive, drives everything I do. In real estate, I take pride in turning my clients’ dreams into reality, with that same dedication to helping others that has shaped every chapter of my life. And for that, I’m incredibly grateful.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
My journey has never been smooth, but it’s been a valuable path of discovering who I am in Christ and understanding my true purpose.

Moving from city to city: New York, Los Angeles, Dallas, and beyond, has pushed me to rely on God more deeply as I navigate new environments, and seeking His direction for my life. Each step of the way, He reveals more of my purpose and reminds me that He has a plan for me far greater than I can imagine. My experiences aren’t only for professional growth—they’re about aligning with God’s will, being led by Him in everything I do, and trusting His timing. Through every challenge, God is guiding me and helping me see that my worth wasn’t tied to my accomplishments but to my identity in Him.

Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I’m a Dallas-based realtor and apartment locator with the RUNA Realty Group, brokered by eXp Realty, serving clients nationwide. I take pride in helping clients find their dream homes, investment properties, and even commercial real estate.

Next to my genuine enthusiasm and commitment to my clients, what sets me apart from others is that I engage all resources when locating properties and explore all avenues of downpayment assistance. I educate homebuyers on programs and grants they may qualify for, offering options for them to lower their costs to close -and in many cases offering rebates that help my clients jumpstart the first few months of living in their dream home.

Whether my clients are first-time homebuyers or seasoned investors, I take a people-first approach by not just focusing on closing deals, but on building lasting relationships founded on trust, integrity, and personalized service.

Let’s talk about our city – what do you love? What do you not love?
What I love most about Dallas is the incredible variety of things to do. From the over 300 highly recommended restaurants pinned on my Google Maps list to the annual Texas State Fair, there’s always something new to explore.

The people here are warm and welcoming, making it feel like a tight-knit community despite being a large city. From my first visit to Dallas, it’s always felt like home and I’m very happy to be living in such a phenomenal city.

What I like least about Dallas is having to become a road warrior and drive farther distances than I am used to -but it’s nothing I can’t handle.
