Today we’d like to introduce you to Kara Cooper
Hi Kara, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
Kara L. Cooper, an American artist affectionately known as Kc Karebearr(The Texas Princess , S.U.C.) was born on September 16, 1997.
Kara’s journey into music began in her early childhood, when her natural talent shone brightly during church performances, talent shows, acting modeling, and singing competitions, at the early at the age of 14. This early exposure fostered a deep love for music, which only grew stronger as she matured. Her OG and family Friend Demo Sherman inspired her to take music to a different level. Kara used that inspiration to take her own path to find her voice.
At the age of 15. Kara tried out for the 97.9 Disney channel tryouts to be and actor and singer on the channel. She made it to the second round but did not make it.
“I was crushed but I kept going.”
Kara then started competing at talent competitions and started performing all over the state of Texas.
At 17, she began to explore her musical abilities independently, using platforms like SoundCloud to share her unique blend of sounds, quickly gaining recognition for her lyrical talent and distinctive style.
Karebearr shares her former experience as a food server in Bryan/College station.
“I worked at Applebees as a server and a table I was waiting for recognized me. They asked me to sing for them asked for a picture and then tipped me a generous amount. That humbling, kind, and genuine moment confirmed that my hard work was paying off.”
By the age of 18, Kara had already started to expand her presence in the music scene. She managed underground artists and co-hosted concerts and showcases, gaining invaluable experience and supporting fellow musicians. This period of growth not only honed her skills but also nurtured her passion for helping others with their artistic visions.
Determined to carve out her own space in the industry, Kara made the bold decision to manage herself under her independent label, Kc Karebearr Music. This move highlighted her entrepreneurial spirit and commitment to maintaining her artistic integrity.
Kara’s latest project “Bite The Bullet” expertly blends popular sounds with her unique style, which is a testament to her versatility and innovative approach to music. By weaving together elements from various genres, she has created a sonic experience that deeply resonates with listeners.
One of her most notable achievements for 2023 includes her creative contribution to Drakes’s album “For All The Dogs,” which topped the Billboard Top 100 charts. Her collaborative efforts on tracks like “1st Person Shooter” featuring J. Cole, showcase her ability to integrate her artistic vision with that of others, resulting in the creative stand of chart-topping hits.
Despite her growing success, Kara remains humble and grateful. She reflects on her journey with a sense of thankfulness, recalling her latest years working in music.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
One of my biggest challenges was when I traveled from Texas to North Carolina for the Dreamville Engineears Amazon music tour. I drove 24 hours by myself. On the way back my card kept getting locked up because my bank thought it was fraud. I was in Mississippi trying to fill my gas tank and my card was locked. I had to wait 9 hours till the bank opened. I slept in my car and the nice and kind cashier at Valero watched over me while I was sleeping. I will never forget how Mississippi feels now, I love that place!
I try not to take my hardships or obstacles personal because sometimes its just not our time. This is why we have to stay humble because everything works in your favor when you spread love and work hard.

I am a proud buissness owner of Sues patissisere which is a bakery that sales boxed cake mixes. It also has a fitness model that is incorporated with the fitness brand SPhustler. The overall mission of this company is to work on yourself, work on your health, and love yourself on the journey. “Bake with love” is a the metaphor that represents loving yourself no matter what fitness level you are at and to love the process of ginding your recipe or path to reaching your goals (the cake baking process)
I have a brand that is within my bakery called SP Hustlers and it is a fitness apperal brand that offers motivational apperal that reminds goal driven individuals, athletes and students to keep striving and working hard. It is also a model to normalize a healthy lifestyle.
In music i am an independent musician that influences listeners to chase thier dreams.
I aslo have a non profit that i will be launching very soon.

I’m not sure if it is luck, but I believe it’s all about hard-work, spreading love, being kind, and believing in yourself.
