Hi Casey , we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
When starting my first business CaseyTrain, the thought process was to create an online Coaching platform that would make an impact larger than me. Being in the Fitness industry for years, I saw a need for a centralized community with like-minded individuals driven to become the best versions of themself. A community and culture that could rely on and inspire each other on a daily basis. Building a brand around the coaching platform was the best thing I have ever done.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
There is no such thing as a “smooth road” in entrepreneurship. It takes time, often much more than originally anticipated. Being relentlessly committed to the vision, delaying gratification, and sacrificing whatever it takes to see the dream become your reality is the barrier to entry.
Appreciate you sharing that. What should we know about Eminent Nutrition and CaseyTrain ?
I am the founder and CEO of CaseyTrain and Eminent Nutrition. The impact I am able to make in the health and fitness industry on an individual basis, and on scale is what gets me excited to wake up every day. CaseyTrain has grown into a massive Online Coaching platform managing hundreds of clients with multiple coaches. This allows me to be involved in fitness journeys on an individual level. We coach and guide all levels of fitness. From fat loss and muscle gain, internal function optimization, to competitive bodybuilding at the professional level. What started as just myself and a few clients has grown into a community I always dreamed of. My local and national clinic partners help separate the CaseyTrain coaching platform for others. We are not only concerned with just your physical progress, but your internal health and mental well-being. There is nothing like our community. Although it wasn’t easy in the beginning, it was more than worth all of the sacrifices and adversity. I have personally bootstrapped my companies financially from the start, which makes them that much more special to me. When starting Eminent Nutrition, I wanted to bring a brand to market that was the efficaciously dosed, provided complete label transparency, and was backed by the highest manufacturing standards. Spending almost a decade in the supplement industry building my relationships, I was able to put together something no one has done before. Eminent Nutrition manufactures in a GMP, NSF, and FDA approved facility. This verifies the quality of raw materials and consumer trust. Coming from a retail background, it was important that I positioned Eminent Nutrition to protect the brick and mortars. This is another major separator for the brand. Not only do we have an incredible and supportive online presence, but we ensure that the family owned businesses are supported to the entirety. Additionally, as we’ve grown over the last few years, it’s been an honor and privilege to support so many hard-working athletes in their personal endeavors and professional sports. Building the team over the years has been an indescribable feeling of fulfillment. Eminent Nutrition is how I am able to manage the impact I can make in the health and fitness industry on scale. Collectively, CaseyTrain and Eminent Nutrition have changed my life and countless others. Glory to God for allowing me to serve in my purpose every day.
Is there any advice you’d like to share with our readers who might just be starting out?
Three qualities that have driven my success are passion, integrity, and consistency.
Passion is a vital part of sustaining the drive necessary to succeed throughout the ups and downs of the journey. As the first and only entrepreneur in my family, I didn’t have much guidance in the beginning. I relied heavily on passion and my understanding that the mission was going to help others become the best version of themselves. That’s all I reminded myself day in and day out, until the vision became my reality.
Integrity is everything. Do what you say you’re going to do. No matter how small or large the goal, follow through. Operating under the standard that you will complete anything you set your mind to, will build internalized confidence – that can only come from personal actions.
Consistency is the number one variable that will ultimately determine how far you will go. It’s not about being consistent for a week, month, or a year – but year after year until the goal is achieved. There will be a lot of adversity and you have to be stronger than the temporary emotions trying to derail your mission. Remaining consistent regardless of what distractions may come into play, is what will result in the end goal being accomplished.
