Today we’d like to introduce you to Samantha Ritz
Hi Samantha, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
My journey started with a deep passion for health, movement, and helping others optimize their well-being. I earned my Doctorate in Physical Therapy and began my career specializing in orthopedic injuries, particularly for tennis and pickleball athletes. I initially launched my concierge physical therapy practice, Function Physical Therapy, offering one-on-one rehabilitation in homes and on the court.
Over time, I realized that many of my clients—especially busy, high-achieving women—were struggling with more than just injuries. They were juggling careers, families, and responsibilities while feeling stuck in their health, fitness, and overall wellness. That’s when I expanded my focus and created The Elite Woman Project via Ritz Wellness, a platform dedicated to helping women design and step into their ideal lifestyles.
Through my 1:1 coaching program, the Elite Woman Project, I now coach women on how to optimize their health, lose weight, build strength, and create sustainable wellness habits without feeling overwhelmed. My goal is to simplify health, provide structure and strategy, and help women feel confident and in control of their lives.
It’s been an incredible journey of growth, learning, and impact, and I’m excited for what’s ahead!
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
If anyone has said they’ve had a smooth road, they’re liars… The road has been full of challenges, but each struggle has shaped the way I coach and support my clients today.
One of the biggest hurdles has been the research and course development—I wanted to make sure my clients had everything they needed to truly transform their health and wellness. There’s so much information out there, and I’ve spent countless hours refining my approach, filtering out the noise, and structuring a program that is both effective and sustainable.
Another challenge has been figuring out the best way to teach and coach wellness in a way that actually fits into my clients’ busy lives. It’s one thing to provide information, but it’s another to create a system that is realistic, actionable, and gets lasting results. I’ve had to constantly adapt, test different coaching methods, and fine-tune my approach to make sure my program doesn’t just feel like another overwhelming task on their to-do list.
Despite the challenges, every obstacle has pushed me to become a better coach, a better teacher, and a stronger leader. I’ve learned that wellness isn’t about perfection—it’s about creating small, sustainable habits that lead to long-term success. And now, I get to help my clients do just that.
