Today we’d like to introduce you to Evalyn Avila.
Hi Evalyn, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
I’m Evalyn Avila, a 20-year-old lash artist from Dallas, Texas, with a heart for serving others. As the oldest of five siblings, I grew up with a strong desire to have a positive influence and impact in the world. Through my work, I’ve had the privilege of connecting with people from all walks of life, hearing their stories, and being inspired by their resilience.
My passion for helping others sparked an idea to start an organization that provides a safe space for individuals to feel heard, valued, and supported. I’m driven by a desire to be the person I wish I had when I needed guidance and support during my earlier days as a child.
My journey with faith has been transformative. Growing up, I knew of God but didn’t fully understand His love and purpose for my life. As I’ve grown older, I’ve come to realize the profound impact of faith on my life and the lives of those around me. I’m grateful for the opportunity to share God’s love and grace with others through the Avila Foundation.
Though my foundation is still in its early stages, I’m excited to see the amazing things God has in store for us as we continue to spread His love and serve our community. I’m passionate about creating a space where people can experience the transformative power of God’s love.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
I once thought I could go it alone, but I quickly learned the power of teamwork. Our foundation has evolved into a dynamic group of dedicated leaders who share my passion for growth and service. We’ve overcome hurdles like event promotion, fundraising, and time management, and now we’re poised for success. With a talented team and a wealth of innovative ideas, I’m excited to see the Avila Foundation thrive and make a lasting impact.

The Avila Foundation is a non-profit organization dedicated to spreading the love of Jesus through service and community. Every Wednesday at 6:30pm in Garland, TX, we host a non-denominational Bible study that has transformed countless lives in just three months. Our community comes together to support local hospitals, families in need, shelters, adoption centers, and small businesses through donations of time, goods, and resources. At the Avila Foundation, our faith is reflected in our actions. We strive to live out our values of integrity, compassion, and kindness in every aspect of our work, whether through our events or individual interactions. We believe that we are all brothers and sisters in Christ, united in our pursuit of love, service, and community.
Is there anything else you’d like to share with our readers?
At the Avila Foundation, we’re passionate about empowering individuals through mentorship and community building. Our upcoming programs will cater to teen girls, young adults, and parents, addressing specific challenges and opportunities in each group. We’re also excited to host social events that bring people together, facilitating meaningful connections and friendships among those with shared interests.
