Hi Sherlyn, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
Sherlyn’s Creations started in August 2020, when I was just 15 years old. What started as a small hobby making custom decals for vehicles quickly grew into something so much bigger — from personalized cups and frames to beautiful floral arrangements and sweets. I’ve always had an entrepreneur’s midset, even as a kid, and I’m grateful that my passion for creating unique, meaningful pieces has brought so much happiness to others.
Every creation I make is made with love, care, and attention to detail. Seeing the smiles on my clients’ faces is what drives me every day. I wouldn’t be where I am without the constant support of my amazing clients, family, and friends. Their encouragement and belief in my vision mean the world to me, and for that, I am forever thankful.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Starting a business at 15 wasn’t easy. In the beginning, there were a lot of trials, errors, and lessons learned along the way. There were times I’d go weeks without a single order, and it definitely got discouraging at times. But I stayed consistent, kept promoting myself, and believed in what I was doing.
By my second year, things started to turn around. I began gaining new clients, and that’s when I was able to branch out and share my love for floral arrangements. Staying positive, even on the hard days & sleepless nights , made all the difference. This journey has taught me so much about patience, growth, and the importance of believing in yourself

Sherlyn’s Creations is a small business based in Lewisville, just outside of Dallas, TX. What makes us special is the passion and love behind every creation. I’ve always had a love for crafts and enjoyed learning new skills, and as the years have gone by, I’ve continued to grow and add new services to my business. Even with the challenges that came my way, I’ve proudly managed to keep Sherlyn’s Creations thriving for over 5 years!
We’re known for providing high-quality, beautiful arrangements and creating meaningful, memorable gifts. From custom frames and sweets to bouquets big and small — we’ve got you covered! I specialize in floral bouquets, offering a variety of styles and sizes including mixed blooms, ramos buchones, sympathy arrangements, and more. We proudly offer both pickup and delivery services all over the DFW area.
One of the things I’m most proud of is never giving up on myself. I became my own boss at just 15 years old, and what started as a “silly little business” turned into something serious — and a major part of my life. Recently, I’ve started hosting floral classes to teach others techniques and skills for creating the perfect bouquet. It’s been such a blessing to share my passion for florals with others, whether they’re looking to learn for fun or hoping to start a floral business of their own.
I also want to give a huge thank you to my incredible dream team who keeps me going during the busiest times without yall this wouldn’t be possible : Thank you God , my family , bestfriend , & boyfriend for helping me run my business , You’ve made this journey so much easier and filled with love. Forever grateful for my village — you all mean everything to me!
If you had to, what characteristic of yours would you give the most credit to?
Great customer service goes a long way. It’s one of the main reasons I’ve been able to build a loyal, consistent client base and receive so many referrals over the years. My amazing clients helped turn my little kid dream into a beautiful reality, and that’s what motivates me every single day — to keep striving, growing, and dreaming. Because at the end of the day, nothing is impossible when you believe in yourself and put your heart into it!
