Meet Jamie West of Atlanta, GA

Today we’d like to introduce you to Jamie West.

Hi Jamie, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
I was introduced to music as a child, and being in a musical household, my ears always caught sonically good music, which led me to become an artist now.

As far as my modeling, I was thrown into it when I went to an acting school named John Casablancas, but because I was focusing on my music, I didn’t pay it any mind until recently in December of 2023.

Now with Music and modeling under my belt, I’m letting that drive my confidence coaching where I mentor youth on boosting their confidence and mindset.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Having all these passions definitely did not make it easy because I was always trying to pick which one mattered most between music and modeling, but when I realized I really just wanted to express myself, it made the goals clearer.

I think the biggest struggle was trusting myself to be able to push through and be persistent, but as I coach confidence, I had to be my first student and show up.

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
While being mainly known as an artist and model, I’m proud of the lane that I’m setting for myself as someone who is being bold with every step I take.

I can proudly say I specialize in making people comfortable and happy in their skin by showcasing how I express myself freely in my music and on the runway.

That’s what sets my confidence coaching apart, I’m someone who built my confidence brick by brick, and while I’m coaching it, I’m also showing it

If we knew you growing up, how would we have described you?
I was the funny, outgoing, very bright, animated kid who always had something to say and was friends with almost everybody. I didn’t have a close relationship with family growing up, so friends became that for me.

I was interested in almost everything
From theatre all the way to track and cross country. My mom let me try anything I wanted because she wanted me to find those outlets to express myself and find myself, karate, guitar, baseball, wrestling lol, you name it!
