Community Highlights: Meet Chelsea Bailey of Chelsea Bailey Coaching

Today we’d like to introduce you to Chelsea Bailey.

Chelsea, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
As a spin instructor for 9 years, I’ve always been passionate about mental and physical heath. I knew I wanted to help women on a bigger scale and make a bigger impact, so I started pursuing my life coaching certification.

Then Covid hit and I became a first time mother, everything changed. I hit one of the lowest points of my life. I felt so lost, struggling with chronic anxiety, depression, and trying to balance my ambitions with motherhood.

Something hit for me one day where I felt called to dive deeper into my healing journey and that is where it all began. I was transformed through trauma healing breathwork and nervous system healing so I was inspired to also become a Somatic & Breathwork Practitioner, NLP Practitioner, Hypnotherapist, Emotional Processing Practitioner, and IFS Practitioner.

Our outer world is a reflection of our inner world and when we first focus on the foundation — healing our nervous system, we open the door to a more peaceful, present, calm and confident life! Feeling good about who we are and how we are showing up in the world because we believe and trust in ourselves. There’s truly nothing more powerful and freeing than that, and becoming a mother was the greatest gift because it brought things to the surface that I didn’t even realize was stealing my joy. Now, I truly feel like the best, most confident version of myself, and I get to teach my daughter the same thing.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
No, definitely not a smooth rode.

The biggest challenge was transitioning to motherhood. I went from being an ambitious woman with goals and dreams to feeling stuck and questioning who I really am and what I really want in this new life as a mom. I recognized that I was struggling, I didn’t feel present with my daughter, and my anxiety was through the roof. That’s when I knew that I needed deeper support instead of just listening to more podcasts, reading books, and trying to figure things out on my own. Now, I know I could not have done it on my own and I’m so proud of myself for having the courage to ask for help.

Another huge challenge was I didn’t realize how anxious and stressed my body was until I fell into depression. I was so disconnected from myself and from my body that I didn’t notice all the signs. Now that I’ve worked with so many other women, I know that it’s actually very common to not recognize how much stress we’re actually in because of how busy and distracted we keep ourselves.

I tried talk therapy, which was definitely helpful, but then it got to a point where I felt like something was missing. It’s hard when you feel like you’ve tried so many things and they don’t work like you thought they would. You feel like something is wrong with you and maybe nothing will work. But now I know, that is absolutely not true! It wasn’t that the things I was doing weren’t helpful, I just hadn’t found the crucial piece to the puzzle. The answer was the body (somatic work). Anxiety isn’t rooted in the mind, it’s rooted in the body and once I started healing the body, things changed fast. Now I’m on a mission to teach women what I wish someone had told me.

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your business?
I help highly ambitious moms and women get out of stress survival mode and back into their bodies so they can finally feel calm, connected, and fully alive in the life they’ve worked so hard to build.

I’m here to help them break out of the cycle of pressure, urgency, and performance that’s been stealing their joy, energy, and presence for years…just like mine was.

I specialize in somatic healing, nervous system energetics, and subconscious reprogramming, all blended with science and spirituality.

What sets my work apart is that I don’t teach women to just manage their stress. I teach them to heal it at the root so they stop feeling anxious, irritable, overwhelmed and actually start feeling at peace in their own body again.

I’m most proud that my brand is empowering and rooted in honesty and truth. It calls women higher without shaming them or limiting their potential. It meets them exactly where they are and offers them a better way.

Whether it’s through 1:1 private mentorship, my signature 21-day experience, Get Your Spark Back, or my free resources on Instagram, my mission is simple:
To help women remember who they are underneath all the doing and lead their lives from confidence and alignment, not autopilot.

Can you tell us more about what you were like growing up?
I was actually pretty shy growing up, which is so funny because now I’m really energetic and outgoing. I love sports and played all kinds of things growing up until I found my love for dancing and performing. In college, I danced professionally for the Dallas Cowboys Rhythm & Blue team and the Dallas Stars Ice Girls, which were some of the best experiences of my life.

Overall, I always had a positive outlook on life and believed that everything would work out for me if it’s meant to be. I was a solution-oriented person and if I didn’t know a way, I would find a way. I took that passion into teaching my cycling classes because I wanted people to believe in themselves, believe in what they are capable of, and never quit on their dreams.
