Today we’d like to introduce you to Jim Wright.
Hi Jim, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
I think I’ve always held a fascination where art and technology intersect. My early teens as a guitarist in rock bands inspired an interest in audio engineering which by the early 2000s began to require extensive computer knowledge. Which in turn inspired the idea that if I could edit audio, I could edit video. In order to shoot video I needed to learn more about photography. And somewhere along the way to learning the aforementioned job skills I also built 40 monthly rehearsal rooms for bands in Fort Worth TX.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It’s mostly about learning and shooting as much as possible. If you make a good product, people will book you! But there is a learning curve and the first 1000 shots will be the worst of your career.
