Roscoe, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
My story starts with childhood. Growing up, I faced life lessons that taught me how to persevere, how to connect, and most importantly, how to treat people with empathy and respect. Those early challenges and successes shaped my character. They also gave me the emotional intelligence I now use every single day in my businesses. When clients walk in for an appointment, they leave having had an unforgettable experience. When they arrive, many feel nervous, confused, or even afraid. But within minutes, they relax. They often say I feel like a long-lost colleague or an old friend, and that connection helps them feel safe and understood. The moral of the story, they come in for an appointment, but leave jawing, just had an experience.

I didn’t set out to become an entrepreneur, but frustration led me here. I remember getting fingerprinted for licenses and walking out thinking, “This can’t be the best the industry has to offer.” The process felt cold, rushed, and impersonal. I knew people deserved better. That spark led me to create Fingerprinting Solutions Plus, a company built on kindness, accuracy, and respect. We designed a calming atmosphere, made appointments easy to book, and even brought services directly to our clients. The response blew our clients away. Clients often leave saying, “That’s it? The other places take forever. The others are so rude and cold. This experience with you wasn’t bad at all.” What was supposed to be a 10-minute appointment often turns into a full conversation because people feel welcome and heard.

Soon after, I launched Paternity Testing Solutions, which has been a rollercoaster of emotions, stories, and deep personal connections. Just when I think I’ve heard it all, a new client walks in with a story that tops the last. This line of work involves raw emotions, betrayal, anxiety, heartbreak, and hope. Because of my own personal experience in this area, I know how to speak their language. I understand their silence. I know how to be present for them in a way that feels human and sincere. We don’t just give people answers; we give them peace.

Then I launched PETernity Genetic Solutions, a service that focuses on DNA testing for pets. Our fur babies are family, and helping owners uncover their pets’ breed, health predispositions, and ancestry feels incredibly rewarding. It’s a niche field, but I love being able to bring science and care together to serve another type of family member, the four-legged kind.

I also work with 7K Metals, where I help people learn how to diversify their wealth through gold and silver. Many people think precious metals are out of reach or only for the wealthy. I break those myths down and show them how accessible and empowering these investments can be. I’ve learned so much along the way, and it’s an honor to help others build financial security and long-term protection.

At the heart of all my businesses, you’ll find a single mission: to serve people better than they expect. Whether I’m rolling ink, collecting DNA, decoding doggie ancestry, or helping someone invest in their future, I lead with care, clarity, and connection.

This journey didn’t happen overnight. I put in the work, faced hard lessons, and made plenty of mistakes along the way. But I stayed consistent, kept listening, and never stopped growing. Today, I run businesses that do more than offer services. They offer comfort, confidence, and community.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Not smooth at all. I started with a strong vision but little business knowledge. I had to learn marketing, pricing, and operations from scratch. I made mistakes, questioned myself, and built everything one step at a time.

Managing multiple businesses brought plenty of growing pains. I juggled client needs, technical details, and emotional conversations, especially in paternity testing. Some clients came in hurting, and I had to hold space for them while staying grounded myself.

Early on, I battled imposter syndrome. I knew I had heart and drive, but I still had to prove to myself that I belonged in each space I entered. I did it by staying consistent, being teachable, and never forgetting why I started.

The journey has been tough, but each challenge has made me sharper, more compassionate, and more committed to serving people with excellence.

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I own several service-focused companies built around trust, care, and precision.

At Fingerprinting Solutions Plus, we provide fast, flexible, and accurate fingerprinting, both traditional ink and live scan. We use the latest technology to ensure every fingerprint is clear, compliant, and captured right the first time. I’ve created a space that feels more like a boutique than a bureaucratic office. Clients walk in nervous and walk out surprised at how smooth the experience felt. We also guide people through the process. With years of experience, I help clients figure out what specific service they need. Whether it’s for employment screening, tenant screening, volunteer onboarding, I-9 verification, or even drug testing, we simplify what usually feels overwhelming.

Paternity Testing Solutions is about truth, clarity, and compassion. We partner with the top labs in the world that hold the highest accreditations in the industry. We pride ourselves on offering tests that are court-admissible and processed with care, speed, and accuracy. I know how emotional this process can be, so I create a calm and confidential space where clients feel respected, not judged. Can you tell us more about what you were like growing up?
Growing up, I stayed curious and observant. I watched and closely listened to everything and everyone. I always wanted to understand how things worked and, more importantly, why people did what they did. I asked questions that made adults pause and laugh. I carried a calm presence, but I stayed sharp and intuitive.

I didn’t like chaos, but I knew how to move through it. I learned early how to read a room, keep the peace, and lift others when they were down. I naturally stepped into leadership roles, not by force but through trust. People came to me with their problems, even grown-ups.

I loved problem-solving and finding better ways to do things. If something felt unfair or inefficient, I found a fix or created a system that made more sense. Looking back, I see that same instinct in how I run my businesses today.

I wasn’t loud, but I left an impression. I didn’t always speak first, but when I did, people listened. That mix of quiet strength, empathy, and curiosity followed me into adulthood, and now it shows up in every client interaction.
