Today we’d like to introduce you to Brenton “B-Eazy” Barge.
Hi Brenton “B-Eazy”, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
Hailing from the heart of “The Triple D” – Dallas, TX – and now 43, I continue to bring unmatched energy, versatility, and skill to the table as both an MC and a producer. My mission? To raise the bar for Dallas hip-hop, leaving a blazing trail for others to follow.
I also hold engineering credits on major projects including a commercial for the 10th anniversary of K104fm’s Skip Murphy & The Morning Team and the Dallas Mavericks’ “Playoff Anthem,” performed live at the American Airlines Center during their 2011 NBA Finals run.
I made waves as a featured guest on two of the hottest radio shows in the Southwest region: The Sun-Debut Show with DJ Steve Nice on K104fm and Street Heat with DJ Big Bink and Dallas legend, The D.O.C. on 97.9 The Beat. My breakout single “Dirty” turned heads, followed by fan favorites like “Before U See Me,” “I.H.O.P. (Strip Club Song),” and “No Feedback” from his debut album By Any Means.
To date, B-Eazy has dropped four certified albums – “RENTAL: The Original Motion Picture Soundtrack”, “B-Eazy: Da’ Businessman”, “Produced By B-Eazy, Vol. 1”, and “By Any Means (Reloaded)” – all entirely self-produced. I’ve also delivered four mixtapes and countless features that echo throughout the streets of Dallas, TX.
And I’m just getting started! The best is yet to come.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
I’ve been running my recording studio, B-Eazy Productions, since 2011. Smooth? No. I’d say it’s been fun, so far though! Inflation, the economy & re-locating all take a toll on business & clientele.
Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
Makaveli Decoded on YouTube! Check it out now! It’s a groundbreaker! Plus, I’m creative & unique! I care about my craft & the evolution of art, music & artists careers more than most executives.
Let’s talk about our city – what do you love? What do you not love?
It’s a beautiful city and a melting pot of different cultures. The opportunities are endless & music market is wide open! But, the cost of living is on the rise, though. I’m not a fan of that!
