Hi Carrie, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
We are an immigration law firm that has proudly served the DFW community for the past twelve years. As the founder, I lead an all-female legal team made up of immigrants and children of immigrants who are deeply committed to serving immigrant families. I came to the United States from Vietnam as an immigrant myself, and that lived experience is at the heart of why I do this work. From the very beginning of my career, my passion and mission have been to help immigrants obtain lawful status, become U.S. citizens, and keep families together.
In today’s political climate, immigrant communities are being targeted more than ever, with people being taken away from their families and the communities they help build. That reality has only deepened my sense of purpose. More than ever, I want immigrants and children of immigrants to know that they matter, that they belong, and that their contributions to this country are invaluable.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Immigration law is constantly changing, often depending on the administration in power, and keeping up with those shifts while responsibly advising clients during periods of uncertainty is always challenging, especially in today’s climate.
Over the past twelve years, we’ve learned that growth isn’t just about navigating the law, but about building trust, accountability, and resilience. Our reputation, reflected in hundreds of positive client reviews, comes from a commitment to quality over quantity and exceptionally high standards of service and care. We treat our clients like family, and like any family, that sometimes means having honest, difficult, but necessary conversations.
Building a healthy team and work culture has required patience, the grace to learn from mistakes, and a willingness to continuously evolve and grow. That approach isn’t the right fit for everyone, but it has intentionally shaped who we are. Looking back, I’m incredibly proud of the team we’ve built and the values that continue to guide us.

Something that might surprise people is that I’m actually more introverted than my work suggests. While my role often puts me front and center, I truly value quiet moments of reflection, journaling, and prayer. Most people see the growth and results, but not the time and intention that go into building culture, systems, and people. I believe real, lasting success starts with strong foundations and thoughtful leadership. For me, that means staying true to my core values and leading in a way that prioritizes people, relationships, and long-term impact over fast growth.
