Meet Colin Moseley of Mansfield

Today we’d like to introduce you to Colin Moseley.

Hi Colin, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
I am Colin Moseley. I am the proud CEO of Imagery 7 Studios , a professional Wedding photography company, that my wife and I here in Texas.
Originally we are from NY. My wife and I relocated to DFW ,Texas in 2024.
In 2016 , We started XL Media Tv was out of the need for media coverage at car shows and car meets to create an outlet for the car communities across the US to stay connected through events and videos. Quickly XL Media Tv grew beyond those needs. There were important positive news happening in our local communities that would never make it to the big news channels. XL media recognized the needs, we then captured local events that would help bridge the gap and bring people together and create positive change.
We are a faith-led husband and wife photography team passionate about capturing authentic love stories. We see our work as a ministry, documenting God’s handiwork in the lives of the families and couples we serve.
Our partnership helps in providing a high-touch, personal experience. As a married team, we understand the importance of capturing genuine, intimate moments. We bring a calm, fun, and reassuring presence to our shoots, allowing our clients to feel relaxed and truly themselves in front of the lens.
With Imagery 7 Studios we take pride in the our images we endorse. We are committed to promoting encouragement, decency and inspiration. We aim to please our customers with images they can be proud of and when they are excited about their photo’s…we know we have done our best. The proof is in the reviews!!

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
The journey has certainly has not been an easy one, and we faced many challenges along the way. As a new small photography company, we often face challenges when competing with the bigger photography companies and well known photographers who made a name for themselves here in Texas. Trying to make divine connections and partnerships with venues and companies is one of our goals.
But in times of growth and in times of difficulty, we place our trust in God for wisdom, clarity and favor. We are committed to moving forward with integrity, faith, and confidence that God’s guidance will lead our business where it is meant to go.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
We specialize in capturing timeless wedding moments with creativity, elegance, and heart. As a husband-and-wife photography team serving Mansfield, TX and the DFW area, we don’t just document weddings — we preserve legacies.
We focus on weddings, engagements, and meaningful life celebrations, blending artistic storytelling with authentic emotion. Our approach is both creative and intentional. We look for the in-between moments, zooming in on — the tears before the walk down the aisle, the quiet prayers, the laughter during portraits, the way a groom looks at his bride when no one else is watching. Those are the moments that become priceless over time.

We are known for creating a calm, joyful experience while delivering luxury-quality imagery that feels natural, romantic, and refined. Couples often tell us they feel comfortable, guided, and genuinely cared for in front of our camera — and that trust shows in every image.

What we’re most proud of is not just the photographs, but the impact. We believe marriage is sacred, and as a married couple ourselves, we understand the depth of the commitment our clients are making. We bring that perspective into every wedding we shoot. We pray over our business, value integrity, and treat every couple like family.

What sets us apart is our combination of faith, experience, and partnership. You’re not just hiring a photographer — you’re gaining a team that understands love from the inside out. We work seamlessly together, anticipate moments before they happen, and create an atmosphere where couples can truly be present on their wedding day.

For us, it’s more than photography. It’s about capturing love with purpose and creating memories that will be cherished for generations.

How do you think about happiness?
There are many things that make me happy, but first and foremost is my relationship with Jesus Christ. When I reflect on how God loves me, saved me, and carried me through some of the hardest seasons of my life, my heart overflows with gratitude. When I think about all God has done — the doors He opened and even the ones He lovingly closed — I can’t help but praise Him.
I’m happy because God continues to protect me, provide for me, cover my family, open doors of opportunity, and heals my body. I don’t just feel happiness — I feel deep joy, I trust God’s plan for my life, and that assurance gives me peace and joy beyond circumstances.

My wonderful wife, Charmaine, makes me incredibly happy — and honestly, that’s a whole conversation on its own. She invested in me and bought my first video camera gear to be a better creator. She has made me a better man. She is my partner, my blessing, my favor carrier (Proverbs 18:22), and my prayer warrior. To feel her love, her support, her encouragement, and her constant prayers over my life and our sons, that means more than I can fully express. She stands by me through every high and every low season of my life. Just talking about her makes me emotional because she is truly amazing and a gift from God.

My family makes me happy — gathering together, laughing, talking, and sharing memories. Watching my sons grow into mature, intelligent young men fills me with joy and gratitude. I love hearing their ideas, and listening to their dreams for the future. Seeing the men they are becoming ,raising them to be Kings and Godly men for the future brings joy to my heart.

And of course, photography makes me happy. Capturing a moment as I see it — whether it’s a breathtaking landscape, a loving couple or a joyful family gathering — brings me excitement through my camera lens, I’m able to freeze time and help create timeless memories. It’s more than photography; it’s purpose. It’s storytelling. It’s preserving what matters most.
These are the things that truly make me happy — my faith, my wife, my sons , my family, and the gift of capturing life through photography.
