Today we’d like to introduce you to Kristina Kirkland.
Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
I moved to Dallas from Las Vegas with nothing but a U-Haul and my car. I didn’t have the support of my family — most of them believed I would fail. But I truly felt God calling me here, and even when it didn’t make sense, I trusted Him.
The first six months were lonely. All I had was Wednesday night Bible study at The Potter’s House and Pilates at Pilates Society. I prayed constantly for community — for Christian, feminine, driven women who felt aligned with me. One day, I posted a TikTok saying how much I loved Dallas and that I wanted to meet more women like myself. The video went viral, and that moment became the beginning of Dallas Girlies. I know without a doubt it was God — not strategy — that started this community.
What began as small gatherings quickly grew into curated experiences, brand partnerships, and large-scale activations. The journey has required faith, resilience, and growth — shaping me not just as a founder, but as a woman.
Today, Dallas Girlies is more than events — it’s a sisterhood of ambitious, stylish women who genuinely show up for one another. Watching friendships form and confidence grow has been the greatest blessing of all.
And we’re just getting started.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It hasn’t been perfectly smooth, but Dallas has truly welcomed our community with open arms, and that’s something I’ll always be grateful for. From the very beginning, there was an outpouring of support from women who were craving the same type of connection and sisterhood.
Of course, building anything meaningful comes with growing pains. I had to learn how to lead, how to set boundaries, and how to steward something that God trusted me with. There were moments that stretched me and refined me, but they ultimately strengthened both my faith and my confidence.
Overall, the journey has been incredibly rewarding. The challenges helped shape the vision, but the love and support from this city have been the biggest confirmation that Dallas Girlies was meant to be here.
We’ve been impressed with Dallas Girlies XO, but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Dallas Girlies is a faith-rooted women’s community centered around connection, elevation, and intentional experiences. We create curated events that bring ambitious, feminine, driven women together — from wellness activations and Pilates pop-ups to luxury brand collaborations and large-scale social experiences.
What sets us apart is that we’re not just event-based — we’re relationship-based. Everything we do is intentional. Our experiences are designed to feel elevated and beautiful, but also meaningful. We prioritize creating spaces where women can build real friendships, grow spiritually and personally, and feel seen and supported.
We’re known for blending faith, femininity, wellness, and luxury in a way that feels authentic and aspirational. Whether it’s partnering with premium brands, hosting events in unique spaces, or building opportunities for women in business to connect, we’re always thinking about how to raise the standard while staying rooted in purpose.
Brand-wise, I’m most proud that Dallas Girlies has remained aligned with its values as it’s grown. We’ve been able to collaborate with incredible venues and brands while still keeping our core mission intact: building sisterhood and giving women a place to belong.
I want readers to know that Dallas Girlies is more than a social club — it’s a movement rooted in faith, friendship, and feminine ambition. And we’re building it with intention every step of the way.
Do you have any advice for those looking to network or find a mentor?
One of the biggest things I’ve learned is that mentorship doesn’t always start formally — it often starts with proximity and service. Put yourself in rooms where you’re not the most experienced person. Show up consistently. Add value before asking for anything. The right mentors are usually watching how you move before they ever agree to guide you.
For me, networking has worked best when it’s rooted in authenticity, not strategy. I didn’t build Dallas Girlies by trying to “collect contacts.” I built it by building genuine relationships. I focus on connection over clout — following up, supporting other women’s events, celebrating their wins, and being someone people can trust.
Faith has also guided my networking journey. I truly believe God aligns you with the right people at the right time. Some connections are seasonal, some are divine assignments, and some turn into destiny partnerships. Discernment is just as important as ambition.
My advice would be: be consistent, be kind, be excellent at what you do, and don’t be afraid to introduce yourself. The right rooms open when preparation meets obedience.
