Check Out Samuel Ayodabo’s Story

Today we’d like to introduce you to Samuel Ayodabo.

Hi Samuel , so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
Don’t really know where and how to begin, but i can say the journey wasn’t a smooth one. My name is Samuel Ayodabo a fast raising actor/commercial and fashion model/ filmmaker/ screenwriter/content creator.
back in my high school days I was known for the guy who loves to play football ( soccer) and I’m very good at it, funny enough immediately I graduated from high school I discovered I have the potential to do anything that interest me naturally, I could create ideals and stories easily from there I decided to make acting my choice of career. I started doing acting casually , though have being involved in church drama right from my tender age till now, making acting a bit easier for me. I come from a lower class family where we stive to survive but we are all educated, my family is just a family of 3, my mum, my younger brother and me no father, no helper I couldn’t afford lots of things others or my mates are having, I wanted to enroll into the university but I couldn’t due to no financial support or help from anybody. This affected me that made me started working as a sales clerk in different workshop inorder to feed myself and my mum as the first born of the family. After 4 years of working and staying at home I was fortunate to get into a polytechnic that isn’t standard spending three years at the school where I studied Mass communication ( Journalism). After I graduated I started taking acting as my choice of career, I was oppurtuned to enroll at one of the best film academy in my country ( pefti film institute) having the feelings I’m going to network with people and learn more, the story wasn’t as I expected it to be, I travelled to Lagos where I have no family nor relative with just dream and hope, life at Lagos wasn’t friendly for me, i graduated from the film school and couldn’t keep up the connection I made back in film school because I have no financial aids for me to stay back in Lagos and taken on my acting career, I became homeless and was starving to death, that made me decided to return home to my mother, which was not the best decision but the right thing to do. I was fortunate enough to network with an American based clothing line based in Dallas Texas ( Henni Clothing Brand) they found me on Instagram because I have turn my Instagram to my spotlight. I’m hoping God will connect me with bigger brand and film production locally and intentionally to work with, I’m hoping I work with Henni Clothing on a bigger stage internationally. I’m still a fast raising actor, commercial/Fashion model, content creator, filmmaker and screenwriter who is still struggling to make it in life. I’m a true believer of Christ and I’m hopeful God isn’t done with me yet.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Hmmm 😔
My major challenges in life is I have no help meet, lack of father figure, environment problems. It’s hasn’t being easy being the first born of my family without financial support, everything’s seems not to be working out for me, making effort without result, having a doubtful thoughts of being delayed spiritually

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I don’t want to call myself a jack of all trade but as a Nigerian youth having multiple skills and job should be able to get you square meal.
I’m mainly an actor/ Commercial model/ film production owner/ content creator/ screenwriter/ school teacher/ soccer player.

I currently teach in a senior secondary school here in my country, while I push my acting career and playing soccer grassroots level. I founded my own film house production called ( samking productions movies) where I tried to bring my own movies ideals into reality. It’s on YouTube and on social media

Do you have recommendations for books, apps, blogs, etc?
Hmm yeah I spend most of my time on Instagram learning new things about my craft, trying to promote and network with fellow creatives and international acts. I don’t really have favourites in most things I just hop on anything productive to my life and craft.
