Hi Alex, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
My husband and I both have been involved in dog sports for over 20 years. We met through dog training and built our business together. We originally started with our own personal gun dogs running retriever competitions. We currently still run field trials with our retrievers, but our business specializes in obedience training for all breeds. We also put a lot of emphasis on training our clients to be better dog handlers.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
We have always stayed busy and have been very blessed with amazing clients. Our biggest business shift over the years was when we went from only training retrievers to focusing more on all breed obedience. We absolutely love training pet owners to become more connected with their dog through a structured learning process that is fair and balanced.
