Hi Tama, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
Lily Med Spa began as a small, two-room practice with just one laser device and a limited range of injectable treatments. As demand grew, so did the vision, and over time it evolved into Lily Aesthetics and Wellness, now operating in a larger, full-service facility located at 14785 Preston Road, STE 175, Dallas, Texas 75254.
I’m a board-certified Aesthetic Nurse Practitioner, Galderma National Trainer, and GAIN Trainer, and my career has really been shaped by a commitment to both clinical excellence and artistry. Through extensive training in injectables, skin rejuvenation, and full-face assessment, I’ve developed an approach that blends evidence-based techniques with a focus on natural, balanced results that enhance each patient’s unique features.
As my practice grew, so did my role in the industry. I now train other medical professionals as a GAIN Trainer, focusing on advanced injection techniques and facial anatomy, which has been incredibly rewarding. I’m also the creator and host of “Tama Talks Tox,” a video podcast where I share insights, break down treatments, and have honest conversations about the evolving aesthetics space.
Overall, my journey has been about growth—not just building a business, but continuing to learn, educate, and create a space where patients feel confident, informed, and truly like the best version of themselves.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
The branding of any business is somewhat a challenge in the beginning. It takes a few years to establish your reputation and expertise in the community. What were you like growing up?
As long as I can remember, I have been interested in science and aesthetics. My journey in skin rejuvenation began while working as an aesthetician with my mother at her small shop, which led to the pursuit of education in nursing on the undergraduate and graduate levels. A passion for enhancing natural beauty while combining science led me to pursue the realm of aesthetic medicine as a provider.
