Today we’d like to introduce you to Terrance Marshall.
Hi Terrance , it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
In 2024, I was the Marketing Director for a security company based out of Arlington and became frustrated with the decisions the company was making. Those decisions hindered the growth of the company so, I decided to start my own company. With over 20 years of experience in loss prevention/security, I felt it was time for me to have my own. On August 23rd, I filled out the paperwork with Texas Secretary of State for my security company. On the 26th of August, 10/10 Protection Agency LLC was legally created. The name 10/10 came from a 10 code system that I created for my previous employer. The name 10/10, according to the code system that I created, means ALL SECURE. On September 9th 10/10 Protection Agency had its’ first Board of Directors meeting in Crowley. The board consisted of HR Manager Ms. Irma, Office Manager Ms. James and I. On October 16th, I went to Austin Texas took and passed the state security license exam. Even though I passed the exam, 10/10 Protection Agency could not provide security service just yet. The reason the agency could not provide service is because of the lack of insurance coverage that the state required. On November 11, 2024 at 5:03pm the company obtained the proper insurance coverage from a Farmers Insurance Agent out Amarillo Texas. That evening I submitted the PSP-05 Certificate of Liability Insurance to Texas Department of Public Safety Private Security Division. On December 1st 10/10 Protection Agency LLC officially began providing security services. On January 18, 2025 10/10 Protection Agency signed our first (1st) client and; on February 1, 2025 we hired our first (1st) security officer. On August 5, 2025 10/10 switched insurance companies in order to have armed officers as well as unarmed officers. On September 10, 2025 the new logo was introduced whereas; the bullseye logo changed to a word scripted logo.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Overall, the journey has been smooth. The only struggle has been getting clients and that is due to the fact that the company is still new.

We are a security company that provide physical security services. We are located in South Fort Worth with aspirations to be statewide in less than five years. We specialize in providing security officers for construction sites, corporate buildings, event halls, bars and restaurant, traffic control and HOAs’.
What sets us apart from our competitors is that we take a hands-on approach in training our officers and we let the public know it. We also have an open referral program where the public can participate and earn extra money for their household. The open referral fee can be as much as $10K but it starts at $250.
What I am most proud of with our brand is that we have principles and we are trying to make a difference in people lives.
