Hidden Gems: Meet Marzia Prince of UGC Fasttrack

Today we’d like to introduce you to Marzia Prince.

Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
I spent 25 years working as a fitness trainer in a gym, helping clients get fit and building my life around health and fitness. That was my world for a long time, and I truly loved it.

Eventually, I transitioned into becoming a fitness influencer. I wanted to share my passion for fitness and make money online. It felt like the new American dream. I loved posting workouts, sharing healthy tips, and helping people, so it made sense to take my knowledge and turn it into something more.

But it was not as easy as I expected. After a few years, I was burnt out. I learned how to create content and everything looked good on the outside, but financially it was not sustainable. I was barely landing brand deals and started to question if it was all worth it.

Right when I was ready to give up on becoming a fitness influencer, everything changed. Kroger’s marketing agency reached out and asked me to create content for their ads. They did not want me to post it on my page. They just wanted the content.

That was my aha moment.

I realized brands were not just paying influencers with large followings. They were paying real people to create everyday relatable content they could use in their marketing. That is when I discovered UGC, user generated content, in 2021. I could focus on creating, the brand would handle the rest, and I did not need a big audience. And for the first time, I was getting paid to create content.

Fast forward to today, and I have worked with over 600 brands.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
So many learning curves! I didn’t start in UGC with a blueprint. I started with a passion for creating content.

I was simply sharing real moments, real struggles, and real experiences. When I opened up about my life especially personal challenges like my Covid hair loss or my menopause journey, I saw something shift in the way brands and agencies responded to me. They weren’t just looking for polished ads they were looking for my struggle story. And I had that for their target market.

Brands weren’t paying for perfection, they were paying for connection. So I leaned in. I started creating content with intention, learning how to position my voice as valuable, not just relatable. What began as a few low paid opportunities turned into consistent paid collaborations and repeat clients and then into a real business.

But the biggest shift for me? Moving off the “one-off” hustle.

Instead of chasing several $200 deals, I learned how to position myself for long-term partnerships and retainer clients. That’s when UGC stopped feeling like a side hustle and started becoming scalable, predictable income. I was finally living my dream.
