Hi James, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
We started our honey bee farm & removal business in 2015. It all started with a long battle with chronic Lyme disease. After running out of options with western medicine and the political mess with refusal to treat Lyme disease in the state of Texas.. While on death’s door, I ended up getting stung by a few honey bees while collecting wood and felt different a few days later. I remembered reading an article on bee venom for Lyme disease therapy from California.
After further research and being denied any traditional treatment in the state of Texas I jumped in head first with nothing to lose.. After 2 and a half years of purposeful stinging, I was back to my healthy self. So in 2015 I started my business venture with honey bees. We grow bees, honey, offer Ag property tax exemptions, we also do live bee removals/ rescues all over north Texas.
Honey bees saved my life, they are now an integral part of my life and I feel like I owe them my life.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It can always be challenging dealing with the public as you get to deal with an array of people. Unlike a plumber, electrician, doctor etc. some people expect people to remove bees for free. Which is kinda odd having to have proper insurance, registration fees, fuel, time, and expertise for the job just like any other professional service.

I didn’t start out passionate about bees, but after discovering the health benefits of bees and everything they produce- I was fascinated by their integral importance.
