Daily Inspiration: Meet Andria Jackson

Today we’d like to introduce you to Andria Jackson.

Hi Andria, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
“We travel not to escape life… but for life not to escape us.” It’s a quote by Robyn Young that has quietly guided my life and, in many ways, built my business.

My love for travel started early, with a summer trip to Europe after high school that changed everything. I didn’t just fall in love with the places; I fell in love with the feeling of discovery, of being an explorer. When I returned to Texas, I stepped into the corporate world as an Assistant Buyer at Zales Jewelry Corporation, and what followed was a fast-paced career in retail that took me across the globe from factory visits in Asia to trend shopping in Europe. Somewhere along the way, I developed a full-blown obsession with New York City, memorizing subway lines and all.

But as exciting as it looked from the outside, corporate retail came with its share of uncertainty. After navigating layoffs and industry shifts, I made an unexpected pivot, one that led me to become a yoga instructor. That chapter brought a different kind of fulfillment and even took me to places like Morocco for retreats that blended travel, mindfulness, and connection. Eventually, I felt the pull to build something more grounded, and I transitioned into education, teaching fashion marketing as an adjunct at Dallas College to students eager to step into a career I once knew so well.

And then, something clicked. My creativity began to expand in new ways, through wedding planning, birthdays, and nonprofit events at Dallas College. What started as small opportunities quickly turned into something bigger.

After visiting nearly 20 countries, I can say my travels didn’t just influence me, they transformed me. They taught me how to stay calm under pressure, manage time with intention, and find beauty in the smallest details. Whether it was discovering floral design techniques in one country or experiencing the artistry of food and wine in another, those moments shaped how I see and create experiences.

That’s what led me to launch Travel2Flow Events, a company rooted in the idea that events should feel as seamless as a well-planned journey. Today, I design experiences that are not only visually elevated but also deeply intentional, where every detail flows effortlessly, and every guest leaves feeling both cared for and inspired.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It hasn’t always been a smooth road, but in many ways, that’s been the most powerful part of the journey. Alongside incredible opportunities and milestones, there have been moments of uncertainty, career pivots, and unexpected setbacks that pushed me to grow in ways I never anticipated. Navigating fast-paced, at times cutthroat industries, often in spaces where my voice or expertise felt challenged, forced me to tap into a deeper level of inner strength, confidence, and self-assurance.
Those experiences taught me how to stand firmly in what I know, trust my instincts, and break through barriers with resilience and grace. I learned how to adapt quickly, lead with intention, and balance multiple priorities without losing sight of the bigger vision. Over time, I also embraced the power of delegation and collaboration, recognizing that strong leadership isn’t about doing everything alone; it’s about building trust and empowering others.

Looking back, every challenge sharpened my decision-making and strengthened my ability to lead with clarity and purpose. Those lessons are now the foundation of how I show up as a founder, shaping Travel2Flow Events into a brand built on confidence, creativity, and intentional execution.

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
I created Travel2Flow Events, a purpose-driven event planning company dedicated to creating impactful, elevated experiences for nonprofits and corporations of all sizes. From intimate gatherings to large-scale productions, I specialize in end-to-end event strategy and execution, seamlessly blending logistics, creativity, and audience engagement to bring each vision to life.

I’m known for my attention to detail, calm presence under pressure, and ability to design experiences that are not only visually beautiful but also deeply intentional. One of the things I’m most proud of is building a business that merges creativity with structure—where every event feels effortless to the guest, yet is thoughtfully designed to deliver meaningful outcomes.

What sets me apart is my ability to draw on my corporate, education, and global travel experience to create experiences that are both strategic and emotionally resonant. I approach every event as a journey, one that thoughtfully guides guests from arrival to alignment.

Whether supporting small nonprofits, large organizations, or corporate teams, I partner closely with clients to design events that inspire, engage, and leave a lasting impression. To learn more or explore how we can work together, visit travel2flow.com.

What matters most to you?
What matters most to me is how people feel when they leave an event, because at the heart of every experience is emotion. Long after the décor is taken down and the program ends, what stays with people is the feeling: the joy, the connection, the sense of being cared for. I want guests to walk away genuinely happy, almost surprised by how effortless everything felt on their end, yet overjoyed by how beautifully it all came together. That seamless blend of ease and emotion is what I strive to create every time.

To me, events are more than moments; they’re emotional experiences, carefully designed to leave a lasting impression. That philosophy extends beyond my work and into my life. I truly believe happiness is a choice, and I intentionally infuse that mindset into everything I create, ensuring each experience is not only well-executed but deeply felt.
