Hidden Gems: Meet Vivian Pikett of Realtor

Today we’d like to introduce you to Vivian Pikett.

Hi Vivian, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I started out as an interior design student studying at a small Christian school in South Carolina. I decided to come home to Texas due to a family medical emergency. I spent a few months at home with my family when out of the blue I decided to enroll in real estate course. I did it all online at my own pace. In total, it took me a year to complete all of my classes and take the exams. During that year I also started two new jobs and transferred to a school here in Dallas for Interior Design. Needless to say it was a busy time! Once I received my real estate license, I joined the Patty Turner group which has been one of the most rewarding decisions I have ever made. I joined an incredibly talented real estate team where each individual truly supports you and celebrates your wins. I am surrounded by some truly kind and wholesome people on the Turner Group and at Keller Williams as a whole.

I am still currently enrolled as an interior design student and will graduate in May 2026! I am excited to use my interior design skills to enhance listings, give buyers advice, and maybe eventually expand my business to more than just selling real estate.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
There have been a lot of struggles in my personal life. My professional life is not easy. Learning a new job, career, and systems is hard and overwhelming. I am so thankful for my team who provides resources, training, and support for their new agents. I cannot imagine starting this career without them. I am also grateful for my clients who trusted me from the very beginning!

We’ve been impressed with Realtor, but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
I work at Keller Williams Rockwall on the Patty Turner Group as a Real Estate Agent. I have my own business within the brokerage and the team. I can assist sellers, buyers, and renters with all of their real estate needs. I am a younger agent who is on top of the trends. I stay up to date on new topics, how the market shifts month to month, and how real estate is changing. I am proud of the integrity and trust I can provide to clients. I do all of my work for the glory of God and because of that, you will not be disappointed in my services. Everything is decided based on what the client needs and wants. It’s not about me, it’s about you. It is a joy to be invited into someone’s life and help them with such a major decision.

What would you say have been one of the most important lessons you’ve learned?
I have learned it is ok to ask for help. It is also ok to not know all of the answers. If you do not know something just say I will find that out and do all the research for you so I can help you better. YOU do not have to be good at everything. Just do your best and focus on a few things to be really good at. I have also learned that we are all on our own journey. We each have hurts and struggles joys and a story. It is not about being perfect, but being you. I am so blessed to have met and helped so many unique individuals and families buy or sell their home. What a privelidge!
