Today we’d like to introduce you to Diana Seo.
Diana, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
I was born and raised in Korea and later moved to the U.S. after getting married. In the beginning, I focused on raising my kids and adjusting to a completely new life.
Before that, I worked as a flight attendant, so my life was always on the go, busy, and a little chaotic in the best way. At some point, I realized I missed that energy and wanted to create something of my own again.
As my second child got a little older, I started as a reseller, sharing products I genuinely loved. What began as something small gradually grew into Cozymerry. I now share products I love from the U.S. with Korea, and introduce thoughtfully curated Korean brands to the U.S. market. Having lived in both cultures, I feel like I have an instinct for what people truly need.
Because I only share products I actually use in my daily life, I naturally started filming and sharing those moments. That’s how my journey as a content creator began, and it’s still at the heart of what I do, alongside growing my business. Honestly, I’ve been enjoying it more and more, especially getting to connect with people. It’s become something I genuinely love, and in those moments, I’m reminded how meaningful it is to feel truly connected, even in the smallest, most ordinary parts of our lives.
Living as a mom in a country that isn’t where I was born has been a mix of emotions, sometimes funny, sometimes overwhelming, and sometimes a little lonely. But I keep going, and I want to share that journey so we can all remember that even on the hardest days, our lives are still filled with quiet, beautiful moments that matter. I hope that in sharing these pieces of life, we can find comfort in one another, feel a little less alone, and remind each other that we’re doing better than we think.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It definitely hasn’t been a smooth road. Starting a business while raising kids, especially in a country that isn’t where I’m from, was not easy at all.
There were so many moments where I felt overwhelmed, trying to be a good mom and also build something of my own at the same time. Honestly, I didn’t really have everything figured out. I was just learning as I went, step by step.
There were times I doubted myself too, wondering if I was doing the right thing. But somehow, I just kept going.
Looking back, I think those moments helped me grow the most. They taught me to trust myself more and not wait until everything is perfect. I’ve learned that sometimes you just have to start, even if you’re not fully ready.
As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
I’m a content creator, sharing my daily life as a mom along with products I genuinely use and love. I especially enjoy sharing the small, everyday moments and connecting with other moms through them, hoping we can comfort and encourage each other along the way.
Through that process, I naturally started curating and sharing products between Korea and the U.S., building Cozymerry along the way. Having lived in both cultures, I feel like I have an instinct for what people need and what fits into their everyday lives.
What I’m most proud of is the trust I’ve built. Everything I share comes from real life, and it means a lot to know people genuinely connect with and rely on what I share.
Can you talk to us a bit about happiness and what makes you happy?
Lately, what makes me happiest is capturing and sharing the small moments of my everyday life, and connecting with people through them.
These moments aren’t anything fancy, not a special place, food, or outfit, just real life. And I think that’s exactly why they feel so meaningful. It’s not because they’re special, it’s because we’re all going through the same things. That shared feeling is what makes them comforting and powerful, like it brings us all a little closer.
On hard days, seeing others go through similar moments reminds us that we’re not the only ones. And somehow, even a simple one minute video can bring comfort and give us just enough strength to start again.
I still find that really amazing, and I just want to keep sharing, connecting, and growing together with more people.
