Hi Noah, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
We a Recked a NuGaze band out of DFW. The band started 4 years ago with the goal to help people with music. We all have went through some difficult times and turned to music to get me out of it. That alone is what inspires us to create what we do.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
There have been too many bumps to count. This project has went through a few members in its short time. But we are confident now in our lineup and don’t see it changing much.
As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
We specialize in a Metal/Shoegaze sound. Delivering heavy riffs that bite with ambience intertwined to create a massive sound scape. We are most know for our track Stunt. We are also most proud of our track Stunt as it was written during a difficult time in the project. We adjust our writing and recording process and think it defined a new era for Recked. We are all so in love with music and how it makes us feel. We don’t care about fame or money. We just want to change people lives like our lives did.
