Exploring Life & Business with Kyle Towb of Clarity Partners Zero-Point Advisory

Today we’d like to introduce you to Kyle Towb.

Kyle, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
At an early age I got into art and tech, beginning with chess at age 4, and using MS DOS at the age of 5, as well as painting and drawing. I excelled in school and transferred to an Academy and by the age of 11 already made my first website. Then at the age of 12 we won the US First National Robotics Competition. Age 13 won Texas BEST Robotics Competition, began using the first version of photoshop at age 14 and enrolled in the International Bachelaureate Program at Garland High School, but I was never content with a pure focus on education and so I shifted schools to join I grew up in a lower middle class family so I worked hard through high school holding 2-3 jobs consistently. I attended UT Dallas for Electrical Engineering and began consulting when I was 18. My first big client was Sekret Agent Productions who produced Prince of Persia, Assassin’s Creed and other well known games of the time.My focus became web development, graphic design, marketing, seo, and strategy. I was blessed to land a gig at a small ecommerce business that really became my education, where we grew a small electronic accessory supplier into the largest and most dominant brand online. While I had experience across management, programming, web development, and more, however, this was a vital opportunity to hone a set of skills that would change the course of my life. We built this into an automated masterpiece that would dynamically crawl the internet and creates products putting 40,000+ products online in the first 4 positions of Google results. After 3 and a half years I realized a degree could never compare to the education and skills tirelessly improved during that time ranging from business strategy, marketing, international product importation, product design, database administration and architecture, management, web design, web development, programming, graphic design and more. So I set off on my own and began my first business, initially I was helping a fellow entrepreneur making custom iPhone for celebrities ranging from Drake to Johnny Manziel, but during this time I met several business owners who opened doors for me leading me to work with the former head of engineering of Broadcast.com, Mark Cuban’s company which he sold to Yahoo, as well as the brother of the founder of Mailchimp. We began a mobile application development company then I helped transition a global Nonprofit from Seoul to the states. I found partnership in a Marketing Agency off Mockingbird station and eventually sold my meager stake and home to move to Thailand in 2015 where I continued work with existing clients, particularly a Private Equity group. I had spent much of my life focused on meditation and this became an opportunity to truly practice and reset/realign myself. During my time in Thailand I studied international business at Ramkhamhaeng University and began working for the largest advertising awards festival in the Asia Pacific region, ADFEST. I also visited Japan for the first time in 2015 and began returning once or twice a year to meditate with a monk in Kyoto. After living in Thailand for two years my grandfather became ill, I turned 30, and realized as a 6th generation Texan, Dallas was truly where my heart was so I moved back. While Texas is home base, I do still spend the month of March in Thailand each year traveling and working at ADFEST and enjoying time in what feels like my second home. Upon returning back to Dallas a friend and I began a small marketing agency handling the marketing for Gilley’s and Southside Ballroom as well other local businesses. In early 2018 we parted ways and I became the Marketing Director of a Real Estate tech business which we were able to grow and raise 14 million in a merger/acquisition. All the while I maintained my own small marketing agency and clients on the side with a keen interest in Real Estate, so this became an excellent transition point for me to expand my knowledge and skills in this area of expertise. I was not raised to have financial literacy but have been blessed with many mentors along the way. After the acquisition, I became the marketing director of Social Venture Partners Dallas, a local little giant of a nonprofit that is a branch of a global organization of philanthropists. However the years from 2020-2021 were not so forgiving to business and so I began to focus on real estate, investing in an Airbnb and partnering with a local owner of a real estate brokerage where we began a real estate development company, grew a property management company, and founded a nationwide commercial brokerage with former directors from Costar and Ten-X. Since then, I’ve honed my focus into the primary skills that have led me to where I am today, strategic advisory. With a breadth of experience across life, business, marketing, tech, real estate, and management, I’ve developed systems to help founders and executives become more aligned with their goals and craft strategic plans and roadmaps that, if followed, produce inevitable results.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
No, it’s been a lot of learning, mistakes, failures, bad investments, missed opportunities, misaligned partnerships, heartbreak, struggle, and hard work.

Appreciate you sharing that. What should we know about Clarity Partners Zero-Point Advisory?
Clarity Partners is a boutique advisory practice focused on one thing: helping smart, driven people make better decisions about their businesses, their teams, and where they’re headed.

I work with executives, founders, and professionals who are at some kind of inflection point. Maybe they’re scaling, and the team isn’t keeping up. Maybe they’re trying to figure out the right next move, and the usual frameworks aren’t cutting it. Maybe something in their organization just isn’t clicking, and they can’t quite put their finger on why. That’s where I come in.

What I specialize in is behavioral intelligence, understanding how people are actually wired to operate, not just how they think they operate. I’ve built a proprietary methodology around that, and it shapes everything from individual advisory sessions to team dynamics work to longer-range strategic planning.

What sets Clarity Partners apart is that we start with the pattern before the problem. Most advice lives at the surface level. We go deeper, and that tends to produce results that actually stick.

I keep the practice deliberately small and selective. This isn’t a firm you hire for a generic audit or a packaged program. It’s for people who want rigorous, personalized thinking applied to the real challenges in front of them.
What I’m most proud of is the trust the work has earned. Clients come in through referrals, they stay longer than they expect to, and they tend to bring us into the next challenge after that. That’s the reputation I’ve built over nearly 20 years — and it’s the one I care most about protecting.

If you’re at a crossroads in your business or your leadership, and you want a thought partner who brings both analytical depth and real-world experience to the table, that’s what Clarity Partners is here for.

Who else deserves credit in your story?
My family, my friends who have been like family, my mentors, so many endlessly. I like to think of myself like a cell in the body; without the support from the heart, lungs, brain, and everything else, I would be nothing.
