Check Out Sonia Enid Ríos’s Story

Today we’d like to introduce you to Sonia Enid Ríos.

Hi Sonia Enid, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
For a long time, I was holding everything together… except myself. I grew up in a loving and protective environment, and later built my life in the United States, becoming a wife and mother of two. Motherhood became one of the most transformative experiences of my life, but it also brought moments of overwhelm, disconnection, and the quiet realization that I had lost parts of my identity along the way. That awareness marked the beginning of a deeper personal journey.

I began to take responsibility for my wellbeing, seeking support and exploring tools like mindfulness, journaling, and intentional self-care. Through my background in education, training, and communication, I started to understand not only how to support others, but how to reconnect with myself in a more conscious and present way. It wasn’t an overnight change, but a series of small, consistent decisions to choose myself again and again.

Today, I share that journey through my content, where I support women and mothers who feel overwhelmed or disconnected, helping them move from survival mode into a more present and intentional way of living. I’m currently developing my first book and expanding into public speaking, with the intention of creating spaces where women can feel seen, supported, and empowered to reconnect with who they truly are.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
No, it hasn’t been an easy path. It has been a journey filled with challenging moments, especially on an emotional level. One of the biggest difficulties was recognizing that, even though everything looked fine on the outside, I felt disconnected from myself on the inside. Motherhood, along with the responsibilities of daily life, sometimes led me to live on autopilot, holding everything together without giving myself the space to truly listen to myself.

It has also been a challenge to face beliefs, fears, and patterns that had been with me for a long time. Learning to choose myself without guilt, to set boundaries, and to prioritize my wellbeing has required intention, awareness, and a lot of patience. It hasn’t always been a linear process, and there have been moments of doubt, exhaustion, and resistance.

However, each of those difficulties has been an essential part of my growth. Today, I see them not as obstacles, but as opportunities that have allowed me to build a deeper connection with myself, and from that place, support other women with greater empathy, presence, and authenticity.

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I am a content creator and creative focused on conscious wellbeing in motherhood. Through my work, I share reflections, simple tools, and real-life experiences that support women and mothers in reconnecting with themselves through mindfulness, self-care, and intentional living. Everything I create comes from a very honest and personal place, using storytelling to build emotional connection and offer guidance that feels real and applicable in everyday life.

I specialize in creating content that feels relatable and human, reflecting both the beauty and the challenges of motherhood. I am known for my honest voice and for creating a space where women feel seen, understood, and supported without pressure to be perfect. My intention is to gently guide them out of survival mode and into a more present and conscious way of living.

What I am most proud of is being able to turn my own journey into something meaningful for others. Sharing my story has allowed me to connect deeply with women and remind them that they are not alone. What sets me apart is the way I combine my background in education and communication with my personal experience, creating content that is not only inspiring, but also grounded, intentional, and rooted in real-life transformation.

Can you tell us more about what you were like growing up?
As a child, I was very loved, protected, and deeply cared for. I grew up in an environment where I felt safe, but I was also quite sensitive and expressive in my own way. I didn’t always use many words to communicate how I felt, but I found other ways to express myself.

I loved writing, dancing, and being creative. I remember always enjoying music, taking photos, and writing about my emotions. I was often in my own little world, dancing, creating, and feeling deeply. I also had a natural connection to nature and a strong sense of caring for others, which has stayed with me throughout my life.

Looking back, I can see that many of the things that define me today—creativity, emotional depth, and the desire to connect and care for others—were already a part of who I was as a child.
