Hi Demarius, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
I trained my first client my freshman year of college at the University of North Texas in 2013 , he was actually a linebacker in high school and wanted to lose weight . We hit the gym 3 times a week and got that goal achieved, I documented his journey, and received more inquiries. I started working at LA fitness in 2015 got certified and now I have partnerships with church’s & hospitals such as Methodist Hospital . I still enjoy one on one sessions & small group sessions as much as I did when I started out about 10 years ago .
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It hasn’t been an easy journey, Ive learned a lot through trial and error, You get the best understanding by learning from your mistakes . From the inconsistent clients to not having my own venue to train permanently . Now with being a full time father of two going on 3 years now , my business is operating efficiently and efficiently which I’m forever grateful for . I still have so much room to grow but I also see how far I’ve come .
