Today we’d like to introduce you to Shanese Brown.
Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
My journey really started from a place of needing a real change in my life. I was struggling with my health, including high A1C levels, while also navigating motherhood—especially raising a child with a disability. It was overwhelming, and I knew something had to shift, not just physically, but mentally, emotionally, and spiritually.
I began focusing on my wellness in a deeper way—through counseling, spending intentional time with God, and eventually finding Pilates. What started as just trying to take better care of myself turned into something much more. Pilates became my space to reset. It was one of the only places where I could just show up as me—not as a mom, not carrying everything—just present. It made me feel feminine, soft, beautiful, and empowered. It became my therapy on the reformer.
As I continued on that journey, I fell in love not only with how it made me feel, but also with the aesthetic and the experience. It became something I genuinely looked forward to. That’s when the idea for Belovelle began to form.
The name Belovelle is very intentional—it represents “beloved girl.” I wanted something that felt intimate, endearing, and beautiful, because that’s exactly how I want women to feel when they encounter the brand.
Initially, I started exploring the idea of creating luxury Pilates grip socks, but I quickly realized it was bigger than that. I didn’t just want to create a product—I wanted to build a brand and a space for women to experience what I had found: a soft, feminine reset. A place where women can feel seen, confident, and reminded of who they are.
Belovelle is faith-inspired at its core. It’s about reminding women that they are fearfully and wonderfully made, that they are one of one, and that they deserve to feel beautiful, confident, and cared for—without apology. Wellness, to me, isn’t about size—it’s about your overall well-being: mental, emotional, spiritual, and physical.
As I continue building, my vision is to create curated, luxury wellness experiences and events—partnering with Pilates studios, local businesses, and eventually larger brands. I want to create environments where women can step away from the noise, connect in real life, and truly feel like VIP—valued, supported, and celebrated.
This is still the beginning for me, but I’m building with intention, faith, and a clear vision—and I’m excited to see where it grows.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It hasn’t been a smooth road, especially as a single mom raising my son while also building something bigger than me and creating a legacy that surpasses me. One of my biggest challenges has been finding balance—being fully present for my family while also showing up consistently for the vision I’m building.
As I’ve stepped into entrepreneurship, I’ve realized how many roles I truly carry. I’m not just the founder—I’m the content creator, the marketer, the one building relationships, the one developing the product, and the one making things happen behind the scenes. Doing all of that without a team and with limited capital has required me to be resourceful, creative, and disciplined in ways I’ve never had to be before.
There are definitely moments where it feels like a lot—trying to execute at a high level while managing real-life responsibilities. But those challenges have also strengthened me. They’ve taught me how to move with intention, how to stay consistent even when it’s not easy, and how to trust the process.
I’m truly building this from the ground up—with hustle, grit, and faith. Leaning on God has been a huge part of my journey, especially in the moments where I don’t have all the answers. I’ve learned that even when things aren’t perfect, showing up anyway is what creates progress.
At the end of the day, I know I’m building something bigger than me—something that will create a legacy and live far beyond me.
Appreciate you sharing that. What should we know about Belovelle?
Belovelle is a faith-inspired wellness and lifestyle brand centered around femininity, softness, and intentional living. The name itself means “beloved girl,” and that meaning is at the heart of everything I’m building—it’s about reminding women of their worth, their identity, and the fact that they are fearfully and wonderfully made.
At its core, Belovelle is more than just a product-based business. While I am developing luxury Pilates grip socks, the vision goes far beyond that. I’m creating a space and experience where women can feel confident, beautiful, and cared for—mentally, emotionally, spiritually, and physically.
What sets Belovelle apart is the intention behind it. It’s not just about aesthetics, although the brand embraces a soft, feminine, luxury feel—it’s about how women feel when they engage with it. I want every touchpoint, whether it’s a product or an event, to feel like a reset. A moment to slow down, reconnect, and feel like the best version of themselves.
I’m especially passionate about building community through curated wellness experiences and events. My goal is to partner with Pilates studios, local businesses, and eventually larger brands to create environments where women can step away from the noise of everyday life and feel like VIP—seen, valued, and celebrated.
Right now, I’m most proud of the foundation I’m building. Even in the early stages, I’ve been intentional about the vision, the message, and the experience I want to create. Belovelle is growing into something that represents more than a brand—it represents a lifestyle, a mindset, and a movement for women to embrace who they are with confidence and without apology.
What’s next?
Looking ahead, I’m really focused on growing Belovelle into a brand that blends luxury, wellness, and experience in a meaningful way. One of my immediate goals is to begin hosting curated wellness events quarterly—creating intentional spaces where women can come together, reset, and experience that soft, feminine energy in real life.
I’m also building relationships with Pilates studios throughout the DFW area, with the goal of getting Belovelle grip socks into studios locally and eventually expanding nationwide. I would love to see Belovelle in studios all across the United States, becoming a recognizable part of the Pilates and wellness space.
Beyond products, I’m excited about expanding into unique wellness experiences—partnering with studios, local businesses, and brands to create elevated, memorable events. I want to explore different environments and creative ways to bring Pilates and wellness to life outside of the traditional studio setting.
Long term, I see this growing into something much bigger—potentially touring with wellness experiences, collaborating with both local and larger brands, and continuing to build a strong, connected community of women.
There’s so much room for growth, and I’m excited to see where it goes. I’m approaching it with faith, intention, and an open mind—knowing that this is just the beginning.
