Lilplayaplaya of Dallas on Life, Lessons & Legacy

We recently had the chance to connect with Lilplayaplaya and have shared our conversation below.

Hi Lilplayaplaya, thank you for taking the time to reflect back on your journey with us. I think our readers are in for a real treat. There is so much we can all learn from each other and so thank you again for opening up with us. Let’s get into it: What are you chasing, and what would happen if you stopped?
I’m chasing Greatness and the path GOD has given me and helping guide me to and if I were to stop chasing that vision that GOD has given me it will not be seen!

Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
I’m a creator who makes skits that connect with many people amongst the world to give them something to laugh at and to put smiles on their face because the world is a better place when the people in it our happy and I’m blessed to be able to be apart of the smile of one and many more during their days!

Amazing, so let’s take a moment to go back in time. What was your earliest memory of feeling powerful?
My earliest feeling of knowing what I was doing was actually funny and that being said I walked into a store where I seen an individual make a face like she had seen a ghost. I then realized that she made the reaction because of me. Not saying anything when we both exited the store, she popped up on the side of my driver side window and was standing outside and it shook my self and others with me in the car. I then realized like me being seen was about to be real actually knowing what I knew was real which was actually being somebody!

What did suffering teach you that success never could?
It’s just like growing up in a household with not much money compared to a more wealthy one. Life shows you the way to make something out of nothing and find the ways and paths to make it through to get where you want to succeed. GOD is real! Pray and have Faith!

Sure, so let’s go deeper into your values and how you think. Is the public version of you the real you?
Yes it is! I’m the same person on and off camera. I’ve been in situations to see people who don’t act the same on and off to having a smile on camera with an ugly personality in real life and it’s not a good look at all and I’m proud to say I’m the true me on and off camera because when people me in real life they expect ME and that’s the best part to have genuine support and love and to be able to give that connect back!

Before we go, we’d love to hear your thoughts on some longer-run, legacy type questions. What do you think people will most misunderstand about your legacy?
Thinking there’s no hard times with real life situations that come with it.
