Years ago, as a full-time graphic designer in Southern California, I barely had time to enjoy the few flowers in my sun-scorched yard. So I started cut a few and bring them to my office — just to hold onto a little beauty during the day. When coworkers would say, “You must have a beautiful garden,” I’d smile and reply, “I have a small yard?” And that is how it all started for me! What began as a simple way to stay connected to nature slowly grew into a true passion. Today, that journey continues here in Oregon, where I’m surrounded by the breathtaking beauty of the Pacific Northwest. I’m so grateful to share the joy of flowers with others — each arrangement inspired by the beauty that surrounds me, the love of my supportive husband, and my greatest muse of all, my daughter, her name is Kawa.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Taking a leap of faith and striking out on my own was one of the scariest things I’ve ever done. The self-doubt, the lonely moments behind the scenes, and those days spent waiting for the phone to ring—it can get gloomy fast. But I kept showing up, doing everything I could, taking small steps in the direction I believed in. And slowly but surely, the calls started to come in.

There was one florist who shared something with me that stayed—something I’ve carried through this entire journey. During a freelance event, when I was struggling, I asked her how she did it. She simply said, you do it with love.
Those words became my foundation—they still guide my heart and hands every time I create.
