Today we’d like to introduce you to TREYCO.
Hi TREYCO, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
I’m a music artist, actor, writer, and entrepreneur originally from Waco, Texas, now based in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. My journey really started from pain, creativity, and wanting something bigger for myself and my family. Growing up, music became my outlet and a way to express emotions and experiences that I didn’t always speak about openly. Over time, that passion expanded into acting, content creation, branding, and entrepreneurship.
I started recording music at a young age and spent years building my sound, developing my image, and learning the entertainment industry independently. Along the way, I also stepped into acting opportunities and appeared in multiple film and television productions, which opened my eyes to storytelling on a larger scale. That experience made me realize I didn’t want to limit myself creatively.
Like many independent artists, the journey hasn’t been easy. I’ve faced setbacks, personal struggles, instability, and moments where it felt like things weren’t moving fast enough. But one thing that has always separated me is resilience. No matter what obstacles came my way, I kept creating, evolving, and finding ways to reinvent myself.
Today, I’m continuing to grow my brand “TREYCO” across music, film, fashion, and digital media while focusing on building a lasting legacy through authenticity and storytelling. My goal is not only to entertain people, but to inspire others who come from difficult environments to keep pushing forward and believe in their vision even when the road gets hard.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
It definitely hasn’t been a smooth road. One of the biggest things I’ve learned throughout my journey is that success and pain can exist at the same time. Behind the music, content, and accomplishments, there have been a lot of personal battles and difficult moments that shaped who I am today.
One of the hardest experiences I went through was losing my father to stage 4 pancreatic cancer. During that time, I did everything I could to help him, including researching holistic healing methods, herbs, and alternative approaches because I truly wanted to save him. Watching someone you love go through that changes your perspective on life completely. On top of that, my family has dealt with multiple health struggles over the years, including my brother battling colon cancer and my mother going through kidney surgery. Recently, I also experienced the loss of a close cousin back in Waco, which was another emotional reminder of how fragile life can be.
At the same time, I was still trying to build my career, stay motivated, support people around me, and continue chasing my goals even during emotionally difficult periods. There were moments where I questioned myself, felt mentally exhausted, or felt like life kept testing me over and over again.
But I think those experiences are also what gave me my resilience and depth as an artist and creator. A lot of my music, storytelling, and creative expression comes from real-life emotions, pain, growth, survival, and perseverance. I want people to hear my story and understand that even when life gets heavy, you can still keep pushing forward and turn your struggles into purpose.
As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?

Is there anything else you’d like to share with our readers?
I would just say that one thing I’ve learned through life is that people don’t always see what someone has survived behind the scenes. A lot of times they only see the final product, the image, the confidence, or the content, but not the struggles, sacrifices, setbacks, and rebuilding that happen behind closed doors. That’s a big part of why I create the way I do.
I want my story to remind people that success doesn’t always happen overnight and that resilience matters. No matter how many obstacles, losses, disappointments, or delays life throws at you, you still have the ability to keep growing, reinventing yourself, and chasing your purpose.
Right now, I’m continuing to focus on evolving creatively through music, acting, storytelling, and entrepreneurship while into something meaningful and long-lasting. I appreciate everyone who has supported me throughout the journey, and I hope my story inspires others to keep pushing forward even during the difficult seasons of life.
