Today we’d like to introduce you to Lexi Seifer Parker.
Hi Lexi , so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
I always knew I wanted to work in women’s health, but the path to getting here definitely wasn’t linear. I started my career as a nurse and worked in several different areas of healthcare over the years, including ICU, NICU, urgent care, walk-in clinics, hospital medicine, telemedicine, and integrative medicine. Every role taught me something different, but I kept coming back to the same realization: women were craving deeper, more personalized care and often felt dismissed, rushed, or unheard in traditional healthcare settings.
That led me to continue my education and become both a Family Nurse Practitioner and Certified Nurse Midwife. Over time, I became especially passionate about hormones, fertility, pregnancy, postpartum care, metabolic health, and longevity medicine. I love helping women connect the dots between symptoms, lifestyle, labs, nervous system health, and overall wellness.
At the same time, my own personal health journey deeply shaped the way I practice today. Walking through recurrent pregnancy loss, endometriosis, hormone challenges, and the emotional side of infertility gave me an entirely different level of empathy and perspective as a provider. It changed the way I listen to women and reinforced how important it is to create space where patients feel safe, supported, educated, and truly seen.
That ultimately led me to create Millennial Wellness, a women’s health and wellness practice focused on root-cause, integrative care for modern women. My goal was to build the kind of clinic I felt was missing: one that combines evidence-based medicine with lifestyle, nutrition, nervous system support, metabolic health, hormone optimization, fertility awareness, and longevity-focused care in a way that still feels approachable and human.
Today, I work with women through all stages of life, from fertility and postpartum to burnout, perimenopause, and overall wellness optimization. I’m also passionate about education and helping women better understand their bodies instead of feeling disconnected from them. A huge part of my mission is reminding women that symptoms are not “just something you have to live with,” and that foundational health truly matters.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Definitely not! There have been a lot of challenges along the way, both professionally and personally. Healthcare can be incredibly rewarding, but it can also be exhausting, especially when you care deeply about people. I worked long hours for years, including night shifts, hospital call, and balancing multiple roles while continuing my education and trying to build something of my own at the same time.
One of the biggest struggles was realizing that the traditional healthcare model often didn’t align with the kind of care I wanted to provide. I saw so many women leaving appointments feeling unheard, rushed, or frustrated, and I started feeling that tension as a provider too. Building a practice centered around longer visits, education, root-cause care, and true patient relationships meant stepping outside of the “normal” system, which can be scary and uncertain financially and professionally.
On a personal level, walking through infertility, recurrent pregnancy loss, hormone issues, and endometriosis while simultaneously caring for women going through similar experiences is incredibly hard at times. There are moments where I am helping patients navigate pregnancy and motherhood while privately grieving my own losses or questioning my own body. But honestly, those experiences shaped me into a much more compassionate and intentional provider.
Starting Millennial Wellness has also come with the very real realities of entrepreneurship, building a business from the ground up, wearing every hat, financial stress, marketing yourself, and learning how to balance passion with sustainability. Social media can make entrepreneurship look glamorous, but behind the scenes it’s a lot of sacrifice, risk, and faith.
At the same time, every challenge has reinforced why I’m doing this. The women I get to care for, the relationships built with patients, and seeing people finally feel understood or regain hope makes it all worth it. I truly believe some of the hardest parts of my story are also what allow me to connect with patients in the most meaningful way now.
As you know, we’re big fans of Millennial Wellness. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about the brand?
Millennial Wellness is a women’s health and wellness practice built around the idea that women deserve healthcare that feels more personalized, educational, and empowering. We focus on root-cause, integrative care that blends evidence-based medicine with lifestyle, hormone, metabolic, fertility, and longevity support.
I work with women through many different stages of life, fertility and preconception, pregnancy and postpartum, hormone concerns, PCOS, insulin resistance, fatigue, nervous system dysregulation, perimenopause, and overall wellness optimization. A large part of my practice is helping women connect the dots between symptoms that are often brushed off as “normal.” Things like exhaustion, painful cycles, mood changes, burnout, sleep issues, inflammation, or feeling disconnected from their body usually have a deeper story worth exploring.
What sets Millennial Wellness apart is the approach. I really prioritize listening, education, and creating individualized plans instead of one-size-fits-all protocols. Appointments are designed to feel collaborative and supportive, not rushed. I want women to leave understanding their bodies better, not feeling overwhelmed or dismissed.
We also take a very foundational approach to wellness. I’m passionate about helping women understand how things like sleep, blood sugar, muscle health, stress, nervous system regulation, nutrient status, gut health, and metabolic function affect hormones, fertility, energy, and long-term health outcomes. A lot of what we focus on is helping women build sustainable foundations that support both how they feel now and how they age long term.
Another huge part of the brand is making wellness feel approachable. Healthcare and hormone conversations can become very overwhelming online, and I try to create education that is realistic, grounded, and easy to understand without fear based messaging. I never want patients to feel judged for where they’re starting.
Brand wise, I’m probably most proud of creating something that feels deeply personal and authentic. Millennial Wellness was built from both my professional experience and my own personal health journey, so there’s a level of empathy and understanding woven into the practice that patients genuinely feel. I’ve had so many women tell me, “This is the first time I’ve actually felt listened to,” and honestly, that means more to me than anything else.
I also want readers to know that wellness doesn’t have to be all or nothing. You don’t have to be perfect to start feeling better. Sometimes the biggest transformations happen by going back to the foundations and finally giving your body the support it’s been asking for all along.
Are there any books, apps, podcasts or blogs that help you do your best?
Absolutely! I’m constantly listening to podcasts, reading books, and using tools that help me grow both personally and professionally. A lot of my inspiration comes from women’s health, longevity medicine, entrepreneurship, mindset, and learning how to build a life and business that feels sustainable.
For books, I really admire the work of Mary Claire Haver in helping bring more awareness to perimenopause and menopause conversations into mainstream healthcare. I also frequently recommend The Fertility Formula by Natalie Crawford because I think she does a great job helping women better understand fertility, hormones, and the foundational aspects of reproductive health in an approachable way.
Podcast wise, I’m always rotating through wellness, business, and women’s health content depending on the season of life I’m in. Some favorites I regularly listen to are Bio Hack-it, The Ultimate Human, Culture Apothecary, and The Diary Of A CEO. I love conversations that blend science, wellness, mindset, entrepreneurship, and personal growth in a way that feels practical and inspiring.
For apps and tools, I’m a big believer in using technology to help women better understand their bodies. I’ve personally used cycle tracking apps, sleep and recovery trackers, and glucose monitoring tools because I think data can be empowering when used in a balanced, healthy way. I especially love tools that help women become more connected to their cycles, energy, recovery, and overall wellness patterns.
Honestly though, one of the biggest resources that helps me do my best in life is community, including mentors, friends, other providers, and women who are willing to have honest conversations about health, business, faith, burnout, growth, and life in general. I think we grow the most when we stay curious and continue learning from the people around us.
