Conversations with Gabriela

Today we’d like to introduce you to Gabriela.

Hi gabriela , so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
My name is Gabriela Medina, and I am the owner of Everlasting Beauty EST2024 LLC in Denton County, Texas. I currently work in law enforcement while also building a beauty and paramedical studio that was created from passion, healing, faith, and the desire to help people feel confident again.

Everlasting Beauty was built to be more than just a salon. It was created to be a safe, luxurious, welcoming environment where artists and clients feel comfortable, respected, and cared for. As women, we know how hard life can be sometimes. We know what it feels like to lose confidence, to go through trauma, to pour into everyone else while forgetting ourselves. That is why this space was made by women, for women.

I specialize in permanent makeup and paramedical tattooing, including brows, lips, eyeliner, scar camouflage, and restorative tattoo services. One of the things closest to my heart is helping women regain confidence after lifechanging experiences. Beauty to me is not about perfection it is about healing, restoration, and feeling like yourself again.

I have invested heavily into education and training, earning over 20 certifications while continuing to study different skin types, pigments, techniques, and healing results. I believe in honest work, real results, and educating clients with transparency instead of selling unrealistic expectations. I only post real, unedited work because I want people to trust what they see.

At the same time, I am building a collaborative beauty studio where multiple professionals can grow together under one roof. The vision includes PMU artists, lash artists, estheticians, tattoo artists, hairstylists, and other beauty professionals working together in a high-end, professional environment that still feels warm and personal.

The studio itself has been designed very intentionally. We are creating luxury spaces with plush and oak treatment beds, Cosmo glo professional lighting, coffee bars, modern décor, oversized mirrors, shampoo stations, and comfortable waiting areas that make clients feel relaxed from the moment they walk in. Every detail matters to me because I want clients to feel peace, comfort, and confidence when they walk through our doors.

Faith has played a huge role in this journey. There were many moments where things felt uncertain, overwhelming, or impossible, especially balancing law enforcement, mental health struggles, entrepreneurship, construction, permits, and the pressure of building something from the ground up. But I truly believe God placed this vision in my heart for a reason.

Everlasting Beauty represents healing, confidence, transformation, and resilience. It is proof that difficult seasons can still create something beautiful.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
No, it definitely has not been a smooth road.

Building Everlasting Beauty has come with a lot of struggles behind the scenes that most people never see. I’ve been balancing a career in law enforcement while trying to build a business from the ground up, and mentally that has been one of the hardest parts. Working overnight shifts, dealing with stressful situations professionally, and then stepping into entrepreneurship required a level of discipline and resilience that challenged me deeply.

Another major struggle has been building out a commercial space. People often see the finished aesthetic online, but they do not see the permits, city requirements, inspections, construction delays, financial pressure, unexpected expenses, and constant problem-solving happening behind the scenes. There were moments where it felt like every time one problem was solved, another appeared.

I also had to learn how to trust myself more as a business owner. When you are building something meaningful, everyone has opinions, advice, and criticism. There were moments of self-doubt, exhaustion, and fear of failure, especially trying to manage everything without giving up on the vision God placed in my heart.

At the same time, the beauty industry itself can be difficult. Social media creates unrealistic expectations, constant comparison, and pressure to appear “perfect.” One thing I promised myself early on was that I would stay authentic. I wanted to build a brand based on honesty, healed results, professionalism, and real human connection instead of heavily edited perfection.

Financially, there have been sacrifices too. Investing into education, certifications, equipment, remodeling, furniture, and creating a luxury environment takes a lot of time, money, and risk. There were many moments where I questioned whether I was doing too much or taking too big of a leap.

But honestly, those struggles shaped Everlasting Beauty into what it is becoming today. They taught me patience, leadership, faith, and perseverance. Every obstacle reminded me why I started this journey in the first place to create a space centered around healing, confidence, transformation, and opportunity for both clients and artists.

Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I am a Permanent Makeup and Paramedical Tattoo Artist, as well as the owner of Everlasting Beauty EST2024 LLC. I specialize in services designed to enhance confidence and help people feel comfortable in their own skin again. My work includes ombré powder brows, lip blush, eyeliner, scar camouflage, paramedical tattooing, and other beauty and restorative services.

What I love most about this industry is that it goes far beyond beauty. A lot of the work I do is emotional. Many clients come to me after years of insecurity, hair loss, scars, uneven features, or experiences that affected their confidence. Being able to help someone look in the mirror and feel beautiful again is the most rewarding part of what I do.

I am especially known for my attention to detail, natural healed results, honesty, and realistic approach to permanent makeup. I spend a lot of time educating clients because I believe transparency is extremely important in this industry. I openly talk about healing, pigment retention, skin types, expectations, and the fact that beauty is not about perfection. I only post real, unedited work because I want clients to trust what they see.

Over the years, I have invested heavily into continuing education and have earned more than 20 certifications while constantly researching different techniques, pigments, needles, and skin types. I have also developed a strong focus on mature skin and corrective work because I believe every client deserves individualized care and patience.

Beyond my own services, I am currently building a collaborative luxury beauty and tattoo studio in Denton County that brings multiple professionals together under one roof. The vision behind Everlasting Beauty is to create more than just a salon. I want it to be a safe, professional, high-end environment where artists can grow their businesses and clients can feel welcomed, comfortable, and confident.

One thing I am most proud of is that I built this business while still working in law enforcement. Balancing both worlds has been incredibly challenging mentally, emotionally, and physically, but it also taught me resilience, leadership, and discipline. Even during difficult moments, I continued investing into my education, my business, and my vision.

I think what truly sets me apart is the heart behind my work. Everlasting Beauty was built on healing, confidence, faith, and authenticity. In an industry that can sometimes focus heavily on perfection and social media image, I wanted to create something real. I care deeply about the experience people have when they walk through my doors. I want clients to feel safe, heard, respected, and empowered — not pressured to become someone else.

At the end of the day, my goal is not just to make people look beautiful. It is to help them feel restored, confident, and seen.

Do you have any memories from childhood that you can share with us?
One of my favorite childhood memories was watching my parents run their businesses together. My mom cleaned houses and my dad worked in landscaping, and I loved seeing how hard they worked to build a life for our family. It was honestly really cute because they would share customers with each other. My mom would recommend my dad’s landscaping services, and my dad would recommend my mom’s cleaning business. They truly worked as a team.

My mom only went to school until about the second grade, so her penmanship was not very good. Because of that, she would sit me down at a desk and have me write my dad’s invoices and pencil in the checks we received from clients. At the time, I thought I was just helping my parents, but looking back now, they were unknowingly teaching me business, responsibility, customer service, and even credit and finances at a very young age.

I grew up watching entrepreneurship firsthand. I saw the sacrifices, the long hours, the pride they took in their work, and the relationships they built with customers. I think that is where a lot of my work ethic and business mindset came from.

Looking back now, it feels full circle because I ended up becoming a business owner myself. A lot of what I learned about hard work, loyalty, treating people well, and building something from the ground up started with watching my parents.
