Today we’d like to introduce you to Bruna Kitchen.
Hi Bruna, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
I started my photography career a little over nine years ago in the wedding industry. Over the years, I built strong relationships and a great network, and that experience taught me a lot about working with people and capturing meaningful moments.
In the last couple of years, though, I started feeling like something was missing creatively. That’s when I discovered branding photography, and it completely changed my perspective. I realized I wanted to create images that are not only professional, but that also reflect people’s real personality and help them attract the right clients.
Today, my goal is to build a powerful and meaningful branding photography business that empowers women entrepreneurs and business owners to feel confident, seen, and represented authentically through their brand imagery.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
I think because I had started as a wedding photographer some people in the wedding industry already had an idea who I am, but changing business also means find new clients and that of course comes with challenges.

I’m a branding photographer specializing in creating authentic, personality-driven imagery for women entrepreneurs and business owners. My work focuses on helping clients visually communicate who they are and what makes their brand unique, so they can connect more genuinely with their audience and attract the right clients.
Before transitioning into branding photography, I spent several years in the wedding industry, which really shaped my approach to storytelling, connection, and capturing genuine emotion. That experience taught me how to make people feel comfortable in front of the camera, and I think that’s one of the things clients appreciate most about working with me.
I’m especially proud of building a business rooted in relationships and trust. Many of my clients come to me feeling nervous about being photographed, and seeing them leave feeling confident, empowered, and excited about their brand is incredibly rewarding.
What sets me apart is that I focus on more than just creating beautiful images, I focus on creating a personalized experience and intentional visuals that truly reflect each client’s personality and brand story. I want every session to feel authentic, empowering, and aligned with who they are.
Let’s talk about our city – what do you love? What do you not love?
I love how many creators/artists there are in DFW. If I had to choose something to be the least favorite, I’d probably say the traffic and how busy everything can feel at times. But at the same time, I think it reflects how much the city is growing and evolving, which also creates a lot of opportunity for creatives and small business owners
