Hi Ayana, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
During the COVID-19 lockdown, I realized that I didn’t want to follow a traditional 9 – 5 path and knew I wanted to build something of my own. As I started thinking about what truly excited me, I kept coming back to my passion for beauty and self-care.
That led me to discover Glow Artistry Studio Academy, an esthetics school that immediately caught my attention. Although I was excited, I chose to wait a year before enrolling to make sure this was the right career path for me. During that year, my interest in esthetics only grew stronger, and I began envisioning what my future could look like in this industry.
I graduated from Glow in November 2024 and became a licensed esthetician in January 2025. In July 2025, I opened my suite here in Alliance Town Center.
Since then, I’ve focused on refining my skills and consistently upgrading both my treatment room and service offerings to create the best possible experience for my clients. Today, I specialize in customized facials, lash lifts, and brow shaping.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It definitely has not been a completely smooth road. Just being a business owner comes with many challenges. At first, it was hard for me to put myself out there because I was shy and worried about what other people would think. However, as I’ve grown more confident in my business, I’ve pushed past that fear and now genuinely love sharing my work.
The biggest struggle I’ve faced along the way has been self-doubt. I used to get very discouraged during slow weeks or even slow months and would often blame myself. Over time, I learned that those slower periods do not define me or the quality of my work. Instead, they taught me patience, resilience, and the importance of trusting the process.
Building a business is a journey with natural ups and downs, and every challenge has helped me grow into a stronger and more confident business owner. Looking back, I’m very proud of how far I’ve come.

Pink Serenity Esthetics is a solo-esthetician owned business offering result-driven beauty services. I specialize in customized facials, lash lifts, brow laminations, and simple brow shaping.
What sets me apart is the care and attention that goes into every service. From the moment you walk in, my goal is to make you feel comfortable, confident, and fully at ease. I always go the extra mile to create a serene experience and build genuine connections with my clients.
Brand-wise, I’m most proud of how intentionally everything has been built. My business reflects my values, my personal style, and my passion for helping others feel good in their skin. I love being creative with my marketing, designing content, and creating seasonal-themed services & menus. I truly want every appointment to feel like an experience, not just a service.

Something surprising to most people is that I also view my business as a creative outlet. All of my branding, seasonal menus, and overall aesthetic are things I design and curate myself. I love being very hands-on and creating experiences that feel intentional and memorable for my clients.
