My journey with Tea Jar Shop began with a simple but profound passion for the art of tea and the way it brings people together. I’ve always believed that a great cup of tea is more than just a drink; it’s a moment of connection, a brief escape from the busy world, and a way to share authentic flavors with my community.
Opening our doors at 761 East Debbie Lane in Mansfield was the realization of a dream to create a space that felt both modern and welcoming. I wanted to build a local sanctuary where quality is never compromised. From the very first day, my goal has been to ensure that every guest who walks in feels the care we put into every cup.
Getting to where we are today required a lot of heart and hard work. It involved countless hours of sourcing the finest ingredients, refining our signature recipes, and building a dedicated team who shares my vision for excellence. We’ve faced the challenges typical of starting a small business, but seeing Tea Jar become a favorite gathering spot for the Mansfield community has made every effort rewarding. Today, I am proud that our shop is known not just for its drinks, but for the relationships we’ve built with our regulars.

It certainly hasn’t been a smooth road. My biggest challenge was that I was entering a completely new world. For 20 years, I worked as a nail technician and owned my own nail salon. It was a career I knew inside out, but tea was a different story altogether. Moving from the nail industry to opening Tea Jar Shop meant starting from zero.
Every single thing was new to me—from learning the science behind brewing the perfect tea to understanding the logistics of the beverage industry. I had to unlearn old habits and dedicate myself to learning a new craft from scratch. There were moments of doubt, wondering if I could succeed in such a competitive field after two decades in a different profession. However, those 20 years of business experience also taught me resilience. I applied that same hard-work ethic to Tea Jar, meticulously sourcing ingredients and training my team. Starting over at zero was intimidating, but it was also the most refreshing and rewarding challenge of my life.

I am the owner and operator of Tea Jar Shop in Mansfield, Texas. After 20 years of owning and managing a successful nail salon, I decided to start a completely new chapter from scratch. We specialize in high-quality, authentic tea experiences, focusing on a diverse menu of signature drinks that balance traditional flavors with modern trends.
I am most proud of my ability to transition from a long-term career as a nail technician to building a beverage business from the ground up. This shift required me to start from zero—learning the art of tea brewing and the logistics of a new industry—all while applying the resilience and business ethics I’ve developed over two decades.
