Meet Addie Hughen of The Arch Social

Today we’d like to introduce you to Addie Hughen.

Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
Hi, I’m Addie!

I have always dreamt of owning my own business and pouring my heart into those around me but wasn’t sure how I’d make it happen. I graduated from Arkansas (woo pig) with a degree in Finance before beginning my career at Edward Jones. I later pivoted from corporate finance to start-up marketing, and quickly learned how to make something out of nothing. After 3 years of serving clients outside of my 9-5, I bet on myself and poured everything into this business of mine.

If it wasn’t for my foundation of finance and business, I am convinced that The Arch Social wouldn’t be the results-driven business it is today. I live by the phrase: work hard, and be nice to people. It truly is what motivates me everyday and reminds me of the bigger picture – your community and impact is everything.

I have 2 dogs (Zion + Millie), an incredibly supportive husband Wesley, and an ice cream obsession. I am so thankful to be surrounded by a hard working team and inspiring clients!

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
One of the biggest lessons and challenges in building my business has been learning when to say no. As an entrepreneur, there are endless opportunities, ideas, and directions you can pursue, but I’ve learned the importance of focusing on what truly aligns with my long-term vision and values.

At the same time, I care deeply about the people behind the business. Balancing growth, client expectations, and the well-being of the team is something I think about constantly. Building a successful business is important to me, but building one that positively impacts the lives of the people involved matters just as much.

Let’s talk about our city – what do you love? What do you not love?
I absolutely love Dallas! It’s an incredible city with so much opportunity. My husband and I have met incredible friends, found a great church, and love all of the restaurants. There is constantly something to do, someone to meet, or somewhere to go!
