Today we’d like to introduce you to Kikky George, MBA.
Hi Kikky, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I did everything I was supposed to do. College, corporate career, marriage, kids, house in the suburbs. I built a tech career I’m genuinely proud of and have been in it for nearly twenty years. From the outside, the picture was complete.
Then COVID came, and I realized I was running on fumes. Burnt out, depleted, and quietly searching for relief. I tried fitness, then yoga. What hooked me wasn’t the movement, it was the breath. That breath body connection, the meditative stillness of it, woke something up. For the first time in a long time, I wasn’t just a head walking around.
I followed that thread all the way in. I became a breathwork facilitator, a Reiki Master, and a meditation teacher. And the impact was undeniable. Better sleep, sharper focus, cleaner decision making, more presence. It changed how I showed up everywhere.
That’s when I knew this had to be more than a personal practice. So I became a co-owner of Breathe Meditation and Wellness in the DFW area, and built my own practice as a Performance Strategist. I work primarily with founders, CEOs, and executives, people who are wired but exhausted, the way I was, and I bring fifteen plus years of corporate experience to the conversation so we can talk about performance, not just wellness.
My corporate work and my breathwork practice aren’t in tension. They feed each other. And the most meaningful part of this whole journey is getting to meet people where I once was, lost, depleted, or finally listening to a body that’s been asking for attention. Showing them what’s possible when they actually use their breath.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Definitely not smooth. The hardest part has been convincing a high-performing executive audience that breathwork isn’t woo, but it’s physiology. I’m walking into rooms full of founders and CEOs who’ve been conditioned to dismiss anything that sounds like wellness, and I had to learn how to meet them with the science, the performance language, and my own corporate credibility before they’d even sit down for a session. That took real time, real money in trainings and certifications, and a stretch of imposter syndrome I had to work through out loud.
Underneath that is the balancing act. I’m building this business while holding down a corporate executive role and raising kids. There’s no version of that week where everything gets my best self. I’ve had to get ruthless about priorities and honest about capacity, and even more ruthless about using the tools I teach so I don’t become the cautionary tale.
The road has been bumpy, but every bump has refined the work. I trust the message and the audience I’m built for in a way I couldn’t have at the start.
Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your business?
Kikky George is my personal brand and practice as a Performance Strategist, Breathwork Facilitator, and Reiki Master. I work primarily with founders, CEOs, and executives, people who are wired but exhausted, and I treat breathwork as a performance and burnout prevention tool. Everything lives at KikkyGeorge.com, where I also offer a coaching program built specifically for high performing professionals.
I am also, a co-owner at Breathe Meditation and Wellness in the DFW area, which gives clients a beautiful in person space to drop into the work, where I teach alongside private sessions by appointment.
What sets me apart is the bridge. I’ve spent fifteen years as a corporate executive, and I still hold that role today, so when I’m in front of executives and founders, I’m not asking them to step into my world. I’m meeting them in theirs, with the physiology, the performance language, and the lived experience to back it up. That’s the brand I’m proudest of: rigorous, grounded, and unmistakably built for the people I serve.
Your breath is your most powerful tool. My work is helping high performers finally use it.
What do you like and dislike about the city?
What I love most is the food scene and the diversity, which, they go hand in hand. Dallas lets you eat your way around the world in a single weekend, and the mix of people, cultures, and perspectives keeps the city feeling alive. It’s also part of why my work resonates here; this city attracts ambitious, varied humans, and that’s exactly who I’m built to serve.
What I love least? The construction, the traffic, and the fact that there’s no ocean within driving distance. I’ll let you guess which one I complain about most after a long week.
