Meet Tommy Thomas of Clear Vision Solutions LLC

Today we’d like to introduce you to Tommy Thomas.

Hi Tommy, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
My journey started with a deep-seated passion for music and a drive to create something authentic in the R&B and pop spaces. I began perfecting my craft independently, hitting the ground running and building a reputation through the live circuit. Over the years, that relentless hustle opened doors I only used to dream about, giving me the opportunity to perform at SXSW twice and share the stage as an opening act for major artists like The Migos, Young Jeezy, Rich Homie Quan, Paul Wall, and Black Smurf. Working on my first project with engineer Drew Castro really set the foundation for my sound and taught me what it takes to build a body of work from scratch.
As I grew as an artist—releasing tracks like my motivational single Chances and preparing for my upcoming R&B release Squeaky Clean—I realized that true longevity in this industry requires mastering both the art and the infrastructure. I didn’t just want to be a creator; I wanted to be an owner who fully understands digital distribution, royalty collection, and the mechanics of the business.
That realization is what led me to where I am today. I’ve taken all the lessons, the stage experience, and the grind of an independent artist and channeled them into expanding my footprint, culminating in the official launch of my company, Clear Vision Solutions LLC. Today, I balance my creative passion with an entrepreneurial mindset, focused on building a legacy and ensuring the vision remains clear on every level.”
How does this length and tone feel? We can easily trim it down to keep it strictly about the music, or expand on any specific moments you want to highlight.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
The road hasn’t just been bumpy—it was a battleground from the day I was born. To truly understand my obstacles, you have to look at my childhood. I grew up without my mother or my father in my life. Even though I lived in a house full of people, I was always alone, carrying an emotional weight no child should have to bear. I was constantly ridiculed by family members, which forced me to grow up and become stronger than I should have been. As a kid, I was pushed into fighting, and I was mocked if I didn’t. Because of that ridicule, every single fight felt like a matter of life or death to me. I had to win. That survival instinct ran so deep that to this very day, I have never lost a one-on-one physical fight to any man in my life.
That early environment set off a chain reaction. When I was just 16 years old and sitting in juvenile, I lost my grandmother. She was my anchor, and losing her completely broke me. Without her, I lost my way, and it sent me down a path of continuous derailment. I caught my first adult felony case at 17, and for years, my life became a heavy cycle of jail, prison, probation, and parole. On top of fighting that system, I faced a massive physical challenge when I lost my eyesight.
The absolute turning point—the moment that shattered the cycle and forced me to change—happened during my second year in state prison when my second grandmother passed away. Being locked behind walls, dealing with that profound grief for a second time, and realizing what I was throwing away is what finally woke me up. I knew right then I couldn’t let my story end in a cell.
The defining factor for me is that no matter how many times I was down, how heavy the grief was, or how isolated I felt, I always finished successfully. I served my time, completed my supervision, and refused to let my past or my lack of eyesight permanently blind me to my purpose.
I took that exact warrior instinct from my childhood and channeled it into my business. I shifted my mindset from just surviving the streets to mastering the music industry and business infrastructure. Building Clear Vision Solutions LLC was me taking total control of my destiny. When you’ve survived an isolated childhood, navigated deep grief from a prison cell, and adapted to losing your sight, running a business doesn’t intimidate you. It empowers you. Overcoming those deep, dark periods is exactly what gave me the ultimate clarity I operate with today.”

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?
Got it. Let’s shift the focus so it’s clear that Clear Vision Solutions is your newly established LLC entity, serving as the business vehicle for the incredible groundbreaking work you’ve already done on the ground as the artist, Official Tommy T.
Here is the updated description within that 450–500 character sweet spot:
Clear Vision Solutions LLC is the business entity founded by independent artist Official Tommy T to formalize and scale a decade-plus legacy of community impact. Known for his hands-on dedication, Tommy T has consistently worked on the frontlines of the unhoused community, providing critical resources to homeless individuals who lack essential support. Through this new LLC, he is also pioneering the BTV (Blind Talented Voices) movement, creating a dedicated platform for blind individuals to showcase their talents. Clear Vision Solutions is actively seeking donations and fiscal sponsorship to ensure these vital humanitarian and cultural programs thrive sustainably.

What matters most to you?
What matters most to me is making God proud, building a legacy for my children, and ensuring that my family is taken care of.
When you grow up feeling completely alone, fighting for your life as a kid, and watching the people who anchored you pass away while you’re behind bars, you realize how fragile life is. But you also realize that you didn’t survive all of that by accident. God had his hands on me the entire time. He has shown me the route, and today, my main focus is allowing Him to order my steps. So many times in life, people ignore His voice, but I’ve learned to listen. Walking this path isn’t just about my own ambition anymore; it’s about divine purpose and doing what is right in His eyes.
Because of that, legacy and ownership mean everything to me. I do this for my children and my family. I want to leave an unbreakable blueprint for my kids so they never have to experience the isolation or the battles that I did. Building Clear Vision Solutions LLC and owning my music isn’t just a business strategy—it’s about creating generational wealth and a foundation they can inherit.
I want my family and my children to look at me and be proud. I want anyone sitting in a dark place—whether that’s a prison cell, a house where they feel invisible, or dealing with a physical battle like losing their sight—to look at my life and know that your beginning does not have to dictate your end. If you let God guide you, keep your vision clear, and refuse to quit, you will win. Breaking the cycle, protecting my family, and honoring the path God set for me—that is what matters most.”
