Meet Will Adams, Sr. of Tha Village Network/ Tha Village Podcast

Today we’d like to introduce you to Will Adams, Sr..

Hi Will, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
My name is Will Adams, Sr., also known as Big Sir, founder of [Tha Village Network [Tha Village Podcast My journey really started through fatherhood, and a diagnosis of Autism from my Son Sir William.. also life experiences, and realizing how many families — especially fathers — feel like they have to navigate life, autism, mental health, and parenting alone.

As a father myself, I experienced firsthand the challenges, emotions, and growth that come with raising children while also trying to lead, provide, and stay mentally strong for your family. Along the way, I realized there weren’t enough safe spaces where men, especially fathers, could have real conversations without judgment. That vision became the foundation for Tha Village.

What started as conversations and community support evolved into a platform focused on therapy, empowerment, and impact. Through Tha Village Podcast, we bring authentic stories, resources, and meaningful discussions surrounding fatherhood, autism awareness and acceptance, mental health, leadership, and community building. We’ve had the opportunity to connect with incredible guests, advocates, athletes, authors, and fathers who are all working to make a difference in their communities.

From there, we expanded into Tha Village Network, our nonprofit initiative focused on supporting families — particularly those navigating autism and special needs — while creating opportunities, partnerships, resources, and awareness in underserved communities.

Today, the mission is bigger than content. It’s about building a true village where fathers feel seen, families feel supported, and communities come together to create lasting change. Everything we do is rooted in love, authenticity, and the belief that nobody should have to walk through life alone.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
It definitely hasn’t been a smooth road, but every struggle helped shape both me and my family into what we have today an UNBREAKABLE BOND.

One of the biggest challenges has been balancing fatherhood with a child on the spectrum, family, work, and purpose all at the same time. When you’re passionate about creating change and helping people, there are a lot of sleepless nights, sacrifices, and moments where you question if you’re doing enough. Building something meaningful from the ground up takes patience, consistency, and faith — especially when resources and support are limited in the beginning.

Another major challenge has been navigating the world of autism awareness and support firsthand. As parents, you quickly realize how difficult it can be to find resources, community, understanding, and even proper guidance. There were moments of frustration, emotional exhaustion, and feeling like we had to figure things out on our own. That’s honestly one of the reasons Tha Village became so important to me — I didn’t want other fathers or families to feel isolated.

On the business and platform side, there were struggles with funding, growth, visibility, and simply getting people to believe in the vision early on. Sometimes people only see the content or the success moments, but they don’t see the long nights editing, planning, networking, investing your own money, or pushing through self-doubt.

But through all of it, faith, family, and community kept me going. Every conversation, every family we’ve impacted, every father who says “I needed this” reminds me why we started. The struggles never defeated us — they refined us. And now the mission is bigger than ever: to continue building a real village where people feel supported, empowered, and understood.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?
[Tha Village Network](https://www.thavillage.org?utm_source=chatgpt.com) and [Tha Village Podcast](https://youtube.com/@thavillagepodcast?si=0TBpY0TUALQXLWTZ&utm_source=chatgpt.com) were created with one mission in mind: to build a real village for fathers, families, and communities navigating life together — especially those impacted by autism, mental health challenges, and the everyday realities of parenthood.

At our core, we are a community-driven platform and nonprofit organization focused on education, empowerment, advocacy, and authentic conversation. Through the podcast, live events, partnerships, community outreach, and digital content, we create a safe space where fathers and families can learn, heal, connect, and grow without judgment.

What makes Tha Village different is our authenticity. We don’t speak from theory — we speak from real-life experience. Every conversation, every event, and every initiative comes from lived experiences as fathers, husbands, leaders, and advocates. We talk about the topics many people shy away from: autism, emotional wellness, fatherhood struggles, marriage, leadership, trauma, and building stronger communities. We believe vulnerability is strength, and that transparency creates healing.

We’re especially known for our work surrounding autism acceptance and fatherhood advocacy. One thing we recognized early is that fathers are often left out of the conversation when it comes to parenting support and special needs advocacy. Tha Village works to change that narrative by giving fathers a voice, resources, community, and representation. We want fathers to know they are needed, valued, and never alone in their journey.

Another thing that sets us apart is the energy and culture behind the brand. Tha Village isn’t just content — it’s a movement rooted in love, accountability, brotherhood, and community impact. Whether it’s through our podcast discussions, awareness campaigns, partnerships with advocates and organizations, community events, or merchandise that supports autism initiatives, everything we do is intentional and purpose-driven.

Brand-wise, what I’m most proud of is the impact. Hearing fathers say they finally feel seen, watching families connect through our platform, creating conversations that inspire action, and building partnerships that truly serve the community — that means more than numbers or views ever could. We’re building something bigger than ourselves, and we want people to know Tha Village is truly for the people.

Our goal moving forward is to continue expanding our reach, growing our nonprofit initiatives, supporting more families, and becoming a nationally recognized platform for fatherhood, autism advocacy, and community empowerment. We want readers to know that when they support Tha Village, they’re supporting a mission centered around healing, education, love, and creating lasting change.

What does success mean to you?
I define success by impact, not just accomplishments.

Success to me is being able to positively change lives while still being present for my family, my community, and the people God placed around me. It’s about purpose over popularity and legacy over recognition. If I can help a father feel less alone, help a family find resources, inspire someone to keep going, or create opportunities that make life better for others — that’s success to me.

As a husband, father, and leader, success also means creating stability, love, and guidance for my children while showing them what integrity, faith, and perseverance look like in real time. I want my kids and community to see that success isn’t only measured by money or status, but by how you treat people, how you respond to adversity, and what you leave behind when you’re gone.

Through Tha Village, success is seeing the mission actually reach people. It’s the conversations after the cameras stop rolling. It’s families saying, “We needed this.” It’s fathers opening up for the first time. It’s building a real village where people feel supported, understood, and empowered.

Of course, growth matters, and I want the brand and nonprofit to continue expanding nationally, but at the end of the day, if our platform continues to create healing, awareness, education, and community — then I already consider that successful.
