Today we’d like to introduce you to Damian Hill.
Hi Damian, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
A few years ago, after my Aunt and Mother passed away, I decided to make my dreams a reality! They placed me with the best musicians, singers, artist and schools growing up, so I wanted to honor them with following my own dreams.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It hasn’t been easy! However, I’m big on the philosophy of, “If it’s easy getting, it ain’t worth having!” I also embrace the challenges, knowing they only make us appreciate the great time, when they come.
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I’m the Owner—Operator of The Celebration Band. We are a luxury event and private party band. We specialize in weddings, corporate events, private events, etc…
We’d love to hear about any fond memories you have from when you were growing up?
I use to go out in a field outside my house and sing looking up in the sky. It was a way to tell the universe, I’m here and bring greatness to me and allow my gift to be shared with the world. It was weird looking back, but it was just the artist inside of me!
Also, Mrs. Richardson, my fourth grade teacher, brought me a sleeping bag, for her in-house sleepover… I cried and cried that day!!!
