Marie and I started DFW Elite Capture after noticing a major gap in the event industry, especially within the corporate event space. We kept seeing how disconnected the event experience often felt. The planning, the execution, and what happens after the event rarely flow together the way they should.
Too often, organizations invest significant time and resources into conferences, summits, networking events, and brand activations, only to end up with content that is delayed, difficult to use, or missing many of the moments that actually drive engagement and long-term value after the event is over.
As a women-owned business built by two working mothers with both creative and corporate backgrounds, we saw an opportunity to approach event media differently. Beyond photography, we understood the importance of communication, responsiveness, professionalism, and creating content that organizations can actively use to support marketing, sponsors, social media, attendee engagement, and future event growth.
What began as a shared passion for storytelling through photography quickly evolved into a business focused on helping organizations create a more seamless and elevated event experience from start to finish.
Over time, we found ourselves especially drawn to corporate conferences, executive summits, networking events, and brand activations because they require a unique blend of creativity, adaptability, executive presence, and strategic awareness. Capturing a live event environment is about much more than taking beautiful photos. It’s about understanding the flow of an event, anticipating important moments before they happen, operating confidently alongside leadership teams and executives, and delivering content that continues creating value long after the event ends.
In addition to our creative experience, we also bring strong corporate and business backgrounds to the company, including over a decade of customer success and marketing experience. That perspective has heavily shaped the way we approach client relationships and event coverage. We understand how organizations operate, the level of communication and responsiveness they expect, and the importance of creating a polished experience both behind the camera and onsite at events.
As the business continued growing, we expanded beyond photography to become a more complete event media partner for our clients. In addition to photography coverage, we also offer videography, social media content creation, and interactive photo booth experiences with onsite printing and instant sharing capabilities. Our goal has always been to create a seamless experience where clients can trust one team to support multiple aspects of their event media needs.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It definitely has not been a completely smooth road. Like many growing businesses, one of the biggest challenges has been standing out in a highly competitive and visually saturated industry while building a brand that reflects the level of professionalism and experience we wanted to bring to the corporate event space.
Professionalism, communication, responsiveness, and organization have always been a natural part of how we operate because of our backgrounds in customer success, marketing, and corporate environments. From the beginning, we understood that organizations investing in conferences, executive summits, and large-scale events expect far more than beautiful photos. They need reliable partners who can communicate clearly, adapt quickly, operate confidently in executive environments, and consistently deliver high-quality work under tight timelines.
One of the biggest learning experiences has been refining how we communicate the deeper value behind what we do.
