Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
only girl with 6 brothers, loss mom in 1996 father 2002c 2 brothers have passed away.High School diploma and always top producer in previous career, but not having a degree meant I was never considered for management or leadership roles, but always used to train and coach peers
Husband recommended I get into real estate

Niche & Success: Specializes in affordable homes south of I-30, serving first-time buyers and single moms. Built a $17M/year business (2020) entirely on referrals and social media, with zero ad spend. winning rookie of the year and realtor of the year, Very passionate about down payment assistance and negotiating closing costs for buyers, Very strong negotiations skills for new construction, including my semi custom home. Very passionate about helping first time homebuyers as my parents nor grandparents were ever homeowners.
Mentorship: A former “Mentor of the Year,” she now has a waiting list of agents seeking her direct, results-oriented guidance.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Posting into the wrong people cosrs me dearly. After stroke I was wheelchair bound unable to drive other agents I had mentored assist in showings while I did all the negotiations
Leaving the nest from my original brokerage, went to a couple of different brokerages whom I was not a good fit for.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
Network everywhere I go, Not afraid to ask for referrals or business, Known for turning my clients into family. Customer Appreciation each summer at Joe Pool Lake. last year almost 300 were in attendance and many families took trays of remaking nnq home…People often come up me while out shopping. promising to call me when they are ready to buy or sell. Im known as the grill lady, gift grill or smoker as closing gift which is great marketing”Our realtor MJ gave us this, you should ca;; her.”
We’d love to hear about how you think about risk taking?
when I left corporate I had no backup plan, only my husbands income , was all in Full time 60-70 hours per week only option was to be a successful real estate agent and I closed 25 transactions my first year
