Today we’d like to introduce you to Nicole Watson.
Hi Nicole, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
My husband and I moved from Australia to Fort Worth to continue sharing what we know best – building a community. Our business partners saw a gap in the market here in DFW for this method of reformer, so with 30+ years of building pilates studio experience between us, we decided to share the SCULPT METHOD with the incredible Fort Worth community.
Our passion lies in the client experience – we want to make sure everyone is walking out of the studio with a smile on their face, excited to be coming back for their next class. Our Instructor Team is a group of strong Fort Worth fitness professionals who believe in our vision and are helping us bring it to life.
We’ve been here for almost 6 months and are settling in to the Texas lifestyle and enjoying everything it has to offer so far!
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It definitely has not been a smooth road – trying to settle into a new country, getting a teenager settled into a new school whilst opening a business is not for the faint-hearted!
However, everyone we have encountered has been so friendly and helpful – that has made the rough days much better!
Thanks – so what else should our readers know about sculptme Modern Reformer?
We are the only Studio in the DFW area offering Modern Reformer – our own method of pilates reformer. Between us, the founders of sculptme of built a network of 15+ Studios in Australia and helped 1000s of people achieve their fitness goals.
We are a people-focused studio where our instructors are supported to be creative with their class planning and invited to have as much fun in class as the members!
The feedback so far has been overwhelmingly along the lines ‘I HAVE NEVER SEEN ANYTHING LIKE THIS BEFORE’ – this is something we are so proud of! We understand what it’s like to walk into a gym or a studio and feel intimidated so to have built something that people have never seen and to be able to hold peoples hand on their journey is just amazing for us.
We’re excited to be growing a community – not a corporation. We are hands-on, present owners who are as excited about getting our members the results they desire as we are about helping our Instructors become world-class.
Pilates is definitely having its moment and we’re loving watching the growth and evolution of the industry. We are excited to be here and definitely keen to create deeper conversations along the way!
If you had to, what characteristic of yours would you give the most credit to?
We say yes and figure it out along the way.
We have all stayed in jobs that kept us safe and unfortunately, kept us small. We are big believers in stretching the comfort zone!
