I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
It’s been fairly smooth. I’ve been blessed to have good opportunities God is good. I have a strong faith community and good music partnership. Music has been therapeutic for me. I have struggled with post traumatic stress disorder from multiple deployments. I have a great supportive wife who pours into me.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I love to play music with different communities. I am fortunate enough to have a song on YouTube that blew up and has over 100,000 views currently. Some of my instrumental music has over 8 million streams. I play live locally all thru north Texas. I have great friends in the music industry.

What would you say have been one of the most important lessons you’ve learned?
Don’t quit. In the words of Churchill: “never, never, never quit” if you believe that you are right. It helps to be grounded by an outside higher power.
