Today we’d like to introduce you to Bryce Vaughn.
Hi Bryce, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I’m a pastors kid who’s always been around music, following my dads footsteps in my love for music. Years down the road I learned bass for our youth group and fell in love with it. That turned into my professional job of doing studio work, touring, and playing for the local and national church. Shortly after that, my passion for pedals and presets grew into what’s now my full time job of selling presets and teaching how to use pedals!
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Like any business it always takes a moment to start up and get your name out. I trusted God and just kept saying yes and kept getting new opportunities.
As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
I always try a fresh approach at anything I do, from playing, to making presets. I not only love working in that field, but also teaching how to do it and empowering and teaching about it as well!
How do you think about happiness?
Seeing that “click” moment for a musician when they understand a concept and apply it to themselves. I was once that young kid overwhelmed by the new music world and love repaying what people before me showed to help me out.
