At Camp GrandPaws, our passion has always been rooted in a genuine love for animals. Our vision was to create a boutique-style dog daycare and boarding experience with limited capacity, allowing every dog to enjoy personalized care, comfortable play, and relaxed lounging in a cozy, home-like environment.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Like many small businesses, Camp GrandPaws has faced the challenges that come with building something from the ground up — balancing rising costs, long hours, and the day-to-day demands of entrepreneurship while staying committed to providing exceptional care for every dog that walks through our doors.

We offer flat-rate, cage-free, boutique-style boarding and daycare designed to feel like a home away from home. Unlike many facilities, we don’t charge extra for playtime, administering medication, or personalized attention — because we believe every pet deserves the same loving, high-quality care. Our focus is on creating a safe, comfortable environment where each dog’s individual needs are met while they enjoy plenty of play, relaxation, and affection throughout their stay.
How do you think about happiness?
Seeing pets excited to come back, building relationships with both the dogs and their owners, and knowing each pet receives individualized attention and genuine affection every day is what makes Camp GrandPaws so rewarding.
