Today we’d like to introduce you to Za’Metria Froneberger.
Hi Za’Metria, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I started modeling shorty after Covid hit. I wanted to actually live and and not just be surviving I decided to do something that I love but also something that I’m scared of. I decided to push my self I hated taking pictures but the more I create art I feel as though it is an outlet for me to grow and become a better person. Modeling helps me connect with people which makes a something i struggled with as well. I’ve done runway modeling, commercial modeling, editorial, beauty and some acting as well. I love to create and write poetry as well. I truly just love to create and express myself through art anyway that I can .
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
No, it absolutely hasn’t been easy. I’ve faced a lot of rejection from agencies and castings, and at times it can be discouraging. But I try to keep the bigger picture in mind and remind myself that nothing worthwhile comes easy. Every experience motivates me to continue perfecting my craft, growing as an artist, and pushing forward. Deep in my heart, I truly believe I’m going to make it, and I refuse to give up on that vision.
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I live to create art and express myself through creativity. I love writing poetry, modeling, and dancing, with experience in runway, commercial modeling, and acting. I’m also interested in expanding into content creation and building a platform that reflects my artistic vision and personality.
What do you like best about our city? What do you like least?
I love that my city’s known for a lot of talent people Taraji P. Henson, Ari Lennox , Martin Lawrence, nino paid , chuck brown just to name few even Winnie Harlow lived here briefly everyone wants to come here . it’s taught me some much coming from D.C. but being D.C. has always taught to want more and not to afraid to want better.
I wish that we could come to gather more as a community and helping the home and addict’s ,and the youth gun violence here have more outlets and possibilities for them but that’s something I would hope to help change.
